1 Active and Safe Rutes t Schl Surveu Summary Prgram Campus View Elementary 39 Grden Head Rd Grades: K-5 Number f students: ~45 Principal: Dug Smith Survey and Walkabut Summary Campus View Elementary participated in the District f Saanich s Active and Safe Rutes t Schl prgram. The prgram prvides tls fr students t walk, cycle, r therwise use active transprtatin fr the schl jurney wherever pssible. Additinally, a neighburhd walkabut was cnducted t further supprt the survey infrmatin. This reprt prvides the results frm the surveys and walkabuts. Tgether the survey and walkabut infrmatin gathered will help identify desired active transprtatin imprvements and preferred rutes t walk and bike t and frm schl. Survey Results An n-line schl travel survey was distributed t parents between Octber 16-27, families cmpleted the survey representing 113 children which is apprximately 25% f the Campus Views schl ppulatin. The purpse f the survey was t gain infrmatin abut the schls travel chices. Belw is a summary f the results frm the cmpleted surveys. 1
