2 SCOUTMASTER S CORNER By the Scoutmaster, Mr. Jolly of course. SENIOR PATROL LEADER S CORNER By Ben Pugh PATROL CORNERS COUGAR PATROL By Roshan Tadi The cougar patrol is doing well. We ran the meeting on the first - starting the chess merit badge. BORDER PATROL By Austyn Duval SCORPION PATROL By Jehial Fish Hi, I hope everyone weathered the storm. Let s keep all the people in our prayers who have been devastated by this storm. Having had this storm really teaches you to be prepared. We have been busy camping this month, we had a night ops camporee, we were the Caesar patrol we won first place in Kim s Game and second place in paintball. The airhead patrol won third place in first aid. This camporee in camp carpenter was a lot of fun. We also have a November food drive coming up. I know a lot of scouts have eagle projects. Now, hopefully we can all give them a hand. We helped straightening the grave stones, Adam and I did 10 stones. Also remember November 6 is Election Day. Stay safe because another storm is coming our way next week. PHOENIX PATROL By Ian Covell Hi everyone! I hope you all have your power back on after Hurricane Sandy. Most of the Phoenix Patrol went to the Weblos overnight where we got to enjoy a nice large fire courtesy of some older Scouts! I know some of us went to the Night Ops Camporee and had a lot of fun as well. We are looking forward to another great year. ORDER OF THE ARROW By Justin Calautti Hi guys! The OA recently had its Fall Conference on October st, the same weekend as the Weblos Weekend. It rained for the entire first night, but the rest of the weekend was fun. We raced Blast Cars, watched a guy perform fire tricks, and had a very short campfire that mainly involved very bad chemistry jokes. All in all, it was a very fun weekend. The Arrowhead Chapter (our chapter) is also inviting other chapters to go indoor skydiving in February. Elections for OA indoctrination are coming around early in the year, and this time don t vote for anyone who isn t on the ballot! Hope to see some new guys in the chapter this year! 2
3 EAGLE STATUS BEN S PROJECT RISHI S PROJECT Everything is going great so far. Hopefully finishing up the building on the receptacles this weekend. All that is left is fundraising. ROSHAN S PROJECT Eagle project is going well. I need some volunteers to help me out. Next weekend I will be working on the 8,9,10,11 of November so hopefully I can get as many adults and scouts as I can. I am also having a bake sale on the 10th. I would appreciate any donations of baked goods for that day. The bake sale will be at Shaws on DW highway. JAMES S PLANS ALEX S PROJECT 3
