1 Dawson County 4-H 1 Newsletter FRUIT DELIVERY MARCH MDU The fruit truck is scheduled to be at the MDU building, 2001 N Merrill, out near the fairgrounds on Friday, March 23. Please be there at 9:00 to help sort and pick up your fruit!! All fruit must be picked up and out of the MDU building by 3:00. Jackie and Bruce do not want to spend the whole day babysitting fruit so please makes sure you get there as early as possible to pick up your boxes. All fruit must be picked up that day. No fruit can leave the building until it is counted and the grapefruit and orange boxes checked for spoilage. Mixed boxes generally do not need to be checked, but you may want to look them over before you deliver them just in case there is some spoilage. You all sold 1,388 boxes of fruit for a total sales amount of over $30,000. Great job everyone. March/April 2018 MSU Extension Dawson County 207 W. 3 3 Cloverbuds will meet on Thursday, April 5 from 3:30 to 5:00 in the courthouse basement. I have some fun spring projects for us to work on. Let me know if you will be there so I can have enough supplies. Archery kids- Regular meetings will begin on March 5. We will have them every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 4-5:30. They will be held at the Trails End Gun club

Tentative Schedule: 1st Thursday: Overview, 2nd Thursday: Chickens, 3rd Thursday: Dogs, 4th Thursday: Rabbits, 5th Thursday: Cats 2018 Spring Paper Clover At Tractor Supply we are busy gearing up for the Spring 2018 Paper Clover fundraiser! Remember those dates are April 11 April 22 Remember clubs that participate in store during the fundraiser have the opportunity to win a $100 TSC gift card! We will be selecting 75 lucky winners at random at the end of the fundraiser. Clubs can go here to enter once the fundraiser starts: Invite friends and family to support 4-H by donating $1 at check out when they are done shopping. 100% of each dollar goes to the 4-H. 90% of all funds collected support local and state 4-H programs right where you live. Come back here each day during the event to see the leaderboard.
