Durng Mr. Herng's vst he has made a thorough nvestgaton of the condtons exstng here, he hopes to be ready to report the result of hs nvestgatons wthn the next' fve months. He has been a very busy man snce hs arrval up to wthn the past 10 days, although hs vst to Hawa by the last Knau was one of recreaton, he dd not over look the wharf queston whle n Hlo. The Hlo wharf proect should be placed n the hs of one of the Government's competent engneers let hm devote plenty of tme to the study of currents. A wharf mght be bult there that would change the condtons so that what s now a deep harbor would become a s spt. There s much to be consdered n a work of ths knd, the derals should be gone carefully nto before the money s spent.
