Here s how it works: 1 hour We meet for no more than one hour. 3 times a year We meet once each month, in January, February, and March only. 3 presentations Every member has the opportunity to nominate a local nonprofit 501(c)3 charity. Three are chosen at random for the group s consideration. 10 minutes If your charity is one of the three chosen, you ll deliver a brief timed presentation to the membership, describing why that charity should receive the group s donation. 1 charity per month After hearing presentations on three charities, members cast ballots to determine which charity will receive our donations for the month. $100 Each member commits to write a check for $100 to that charity. 100% Every penny of your donation goes to the charity.
