Over-raced in middle stages and was held up prior to and rounding the home turn. Gold Plated Slow to jump away. Despite the efforts of its rider failed to muster pace in the early stages. Dream For Alex Slow to jump away. Held up for clear running from rounding the home turn until the 200m. Passing the 200m when improving rapidly steadied to avoid the heels of Beau Victory. When being eased shifted in and bumped Hunca Munca. Obliged to shift to the outside of Beau Victory near the 100m to obtain clear running. Miss Swagger Approaching the winning post was steadied by its rider after shifting out and brushing Beau Victory.

Beau Dazzle Hampered when racing in restricted room to the inside of Hunca Munca near the 100m. Poor performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the tactics in leading today, rider John Keating reported to the Stewards that it was his intention to gain cover, however, after beginning well he permitted the gelding to stride forward from its wide barrier. John Keating further added that after over-racing in the early stages the gelding settled passing the 900m. Joseph - Checked shortly after the start when tightened for room between Lauriston which had been taken in off its course, and Elektra Lass which shifted out and away from Gamora. Lauriston Severely hampered at the start by Native Warrior which shifted in after jumping away awkwardly. Raced wide early before being permitted to stride forward by its rider to obtain a position outside the leader near the 800m. Elektra Lass Near the 1000m, when over-racing, steadied off the heels of Doubtless Star. Held up for a clear run rounding the home turn. Gamora Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slower than normal recovery rate. Race 3 border inn hotel maiden plate (1) metres: Regal Master Trainer Peter Smith advised Stewards it was the intention for the gelding to be ridden further forward today in an attempt to finish the race off. Rider Alan Creighton pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR137(a), in that approaching the 400m he rode his mount outwards to obtain clear running when not sufficiently clear of Sonic Flash, resulting in that gelding having to be checked off Foxtrots heels. Alan Creightons licence was suspended for a period to commence at midnight June 15, 2015 and to expire at midnight June 26, 2015 (11 meetings, 3 metropolitan, 8 provincial). In assessing penalty Stewards deemed the incident to be in the mid range and took into account Alan Creightons guilty plea, forthright evidence and record. Hampered near the 100m when racing in restricted room between Charcoal Lane and Barley Mo. Liberty Prince Shifted ground to avoid heels passing the 400m. Race 4 1print maiden plate (2) metres: I Dont Mind (NZ) Bounded away. Shifted in slightly near the 200m resulting in Sparkling Son being taken in off its course tightening the running of I Want Candy. Fleet Flow Rider Jye McNeil explained that the mare jumped away awkwardly from its wide barrier and as a result raced further back than anticipated. I Want Candy Hampered and had to be steadied when racing in restricted room to the inside of Sparkling Son which was taken in by I Dont Mind (NZ) near the 200m. 5 Le Rough Rider Dean Yendall explained that he felt that there was something amiss with the geldings action and as result he eased Le Rough down over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. La Ranita Acting on a report from the Racing Victoria Compliance Assurance Team, which conducted an inspection of trainer Brian Gentles stables this morning, that Mr Gentle had failed to have an updated medical treatment record in his possession, Stewards severely reprimanded Mr Gentle. Ms. K OSullivan reported that the gelding would now be spelled. Lost its near fore plate during the race. Runhardt Severely checked near the 1000m when tightened for room by Lachies A Star. Roman Aspect Rounding the home turn hampered and taken out off its course by Quantum Light (Jarrod Fry) which shifted out to obtain a clear run. Jarrod Fry was severely reprimanded for shifting ground when not clear of other runners. Mary Jo (NZ) Rider Jason Collins was fined $200 for failing claim his full allowance and as a result being replaced. Checked near the 1000m to avoid the heels of Runhardt which had also been checked. Raced wide from the 1000m. Conspicuous Star Hampered and taken out off its course by Mary Jo (NZ) near the 1000m when that gelding shifted out after being checked. Race 7 moama bowling club bm64 handicap metres: Riboulding Withdrawn by the order of Stewards at 2.22pm due to non arrival on course by the prescribed time due to transport difficulties. In assessing penalty, Stewards deemed the incident to be in the mid range and took into account Anthony Boyds guilty plea, forthright evidence and record. Lordeaux Rider Eddie Creighton pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of AR137(a), the careless riding being that approaching the 200m he permitted his mount to shift out when not sufficiently clear of All Host resulting in that gelding being steadied to avoid the heels of Lourdeaux. Eddie Creightons licence to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence at midnight June 16, 2015 and to expire at midnight June 23, (7 meetings, 2 metropolitan, 5 provincial). In assessing penalty Stewards deemed the incident to be in the low range and took into account Eddie Creightons guilty plea, forthright evidence and record.
