Residential and land sales volume topped $1 billion on July 30, 2018 which was a full 25 days sooner than hitting that threshold in The residential and land sales volume hit a 10 year high of $1.77B. There were 438 transactions that were over over $1M, and the overall Valley-wide average sales price was $1.25M. The most active market was a tie with 122 transactions in Avon condos/townhomes and Gypsum single-family homes/duplexes in The most expensive sale of 2018 was a home in Vail Village which sold for $23M, and Vail Village and Lionshead also hold the highest average price/square foot at $2,148.
