Sub: Inter-Divisional Badminton Tournament Date & Venue The Inter-Divisional Team Championship will be held on 6 th & 7 th February Venue for the tournament will be North India badminton association Badminton courts, Near Sion Hospital. 2. Timings: Tournament will commence at 0900 hrs. On 6 th February 2017 all participants are requested to be present 15 minutes before schedule time. 3. Division Group 4. Last Date and Entries Procedure The entries in the prescribed forms (Annexure I) duly signed by Divn./ Dept. Head and Sports Contactman should be submitted to Hon. Secretary Mr. Ketan S. 2 5. Lodging Lodging arrangements will be made at Tata Power Housing Colony, Trombay for 3 Hydro Divisions & outstation teams. Outstation teams are requested to confirm their entries to the undersigned well in advance & advice their date & time of arrival to make necessary arrangements. 6. Lunch & Refreshments The arrangements for lunch & refreshments during the matches will be made available by the Organizing Committee. 7. Transport All employee participants representing division/division group will be reimbursed by their respective divisions, if Company s transport is not provided or reimbursement made in any other form. 8. Release All the Divisional heads are requested to cooperate regarding the release of the participants to enable them to participate in the tournament and make it a grand success. Participants who are out of the competitions on first or second day/s shall report for duty on the following day. 9. Rules The tournament will be conducted as per the rules given below: GENERAL RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT INTER-DIVISIONAL TOURNAMENT 1. This tournament is open to only those players who are selected from their Division group to participate. Only permanent employees, trainees and the employees on Project Rolls of Tata Power are allowed to participate in this tournament. Only one direct dependant below age of 25 years is allowed to represent in team championship only. 2. The International Rules will be observed. 3. The tournament will be on the Knock -out basis. The Divisional group for the tournament is given in the circular. 4. A team will consist of maximum 5 players. The team championship will consist of 2 singles and one doubles on the basis of best of three matches. A player is permitted to play either singles or doubles only. 5. All are requested to bring their ID cards for proper identification and the participants who complete their matches should report back to work on the next day.

3 6. Organizing Committee Organizing Committee comprising of the following members will be responsible to conduct this tournament. This committee is empowered to use its discretion on any point covered/not covered by their circular. Committee s decision shall be final and binding.
