1 WEST BENGAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION 10 MEHER ALI ROAD, KOLKATA - 17 CIRCULAR Date: To, The All the affiliated District Associations / Clubs/ Units of West Bengal Rifle Association And all affiliated units of National Rifle Association of india Sub : Staging of 3 rd Seranpore Rifle Club Dear All, It has been decided to hold the 3 rd Dr. Harihar Banerjee Memorial Air Weapon Shooting Championship 2015 from 26 th to 30 th August, 2015 as per program attached, at Serampore Rifle Club, Hooghly, West Bengal. The competition will be held for Air Rifle and Air Pistol events only. The competition will be organised by Serampore Rifle Club under West Bengal Rifle Association. MATCHES: Dr. Harihar Banerjee Memorial Air Weapon Shooting Championship 2015 to be held at Competitors who want to participate in the competition are requested to go through the following instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the above competitions. All the matches will be conducted according to the schedule attached as per NRAI Match Book 2015 ENTRY FORM / FEES: a) An Entry Form is attached herewith for your use. These forms can be photo-copied if more are required. These Entry Forms duly completed should be sent to West Bengal Rifle Club, 10 Meher Ali Road, Kolkata - 17 so as to reach the office of WBRA on or before 20 th August, The Entry Fees should be remitted by Cash or by Bank Draft in favour of West Bengal Rifle Association. Late entries, if any, will be accepted with a three times of the normal fees up to 24 th August Entry form as advance copy, may be sent by to wbra19@yahoo.com b) The competitor s cards duly completed will be delivered at WBRA Camp Office at the competition venue on 26 th August, 2015 c) Incomplete entry form, without details / and without entry fee/ and without the recommendation of respective President/ Secretary of the unit/ club/state (as the case may be) will not be accepted. These will be treated as late entries and will only be accepted with triple entry fee and on completion of formalities and subject to permission of Competition Director. PARTICIPATION: Participation is open to all the shooters affiliated to recognised units/clubs of West Bengal Rifle Association and all affiliated shooters of NRAI affiliated units. The Entry Forms must be countersigned by the President or Secretary of WBRA affiliated unit. MEDALS: Maximum Three Medals will be awarded both in Individual and Team category in each event. However if number of entry is less than three in any event category maximum number of medal will be one less than the number of entries in that event category. All medal winners must be present at Medal Awarding Ceremony. Medal of absentee shooter/s may be forfeited. 1

2 ARMS & AMMUNITION No weapon will be provided by WBRA Air Pallets will be supplied on cash payment at the competition venue. TRAVL & ACCOMMODATION Shooters will have to make arrangements for their travel and accommodation. GENERAL a) Competition will be held only for Air Rifle and Air Pistol events. b) Matches will be held in paper targets. c. i) Shooters participating in peep sight events are not allowed to participate in open sight events and vice versa ii) Shooters participating in rifle events are not allowed to participate in pistol events and vice versa d) Shooters below the age of 21 and 18 years of age as on will be treated as Junior and sub youth shooters respectively. Attested copy of date of birth certificate should be attached with the entry form. A shooter can participate in all eligible age category event as per rule b (i) & b(ii). e) All participants are expected to abide by the rules and regulations for the competition. Discipline on and off the field is very essential. f) In case of non-participation by the competitors after submission of entry fees no refund of fees will be allowed. g) Each participating unit should engage a Manager/ Team in charge, for looking after their shooters and only the manager or such authorised person will communicate with the technical officials of WBRA on behalf of their shooters if and when necessary. h) The Organizers will have the right to close any event or events in case of any emergency or due any situation beyond their control. i) The Shooters/ Officials may contact the Organizing Secretary for any further information/details that may be required by them and might have not been covered by the above instructions at the following Address :- 3 rd Dr. Harihar Banerjee Memorial Air Weapon Shooting Championship 2015 Mob: Joydeep Banerjee Organising Secretary Secretary General 2
