The estimated gambling taxes on January s activity are $48,000. We have the potential to have 3 new sites but at this time, it is in the development phase. President s Address: Mike acknowledged those BOD members who would not be returning; Mark Lenaghan, Lyle Warner, Kayla Johnson, Ira Hopper, Erin Woodman was a successful year. Thank you to all who made this year great. Acknowledgements went out to the Bantam B1 Red team and the Peewee B1 team for making it to State! We ve added over 100 new players over the past 5 years. We registered 461 players this season. A huge thank you to Jaime O Hara for all the new players at the Jr. Mite/Mite levels. MAC Expansion-City is still looking to raise about 10 Million dollars for improvements with the rinks and baseball fields. We discussed our possible part in this as far as dollars. As the months continue, we will discuss further. This year we hosted the Squirt C tourney and both the 12UB and 15UB Regions. Looking ahead for the season, we have been awarded Hockey Day MN by the MN Wild. We will need a ton of help. A tentative date will be January 20 th but this will be announced later in June. Mike Petroske will be Chair of Operations. It will be held at Lake George and both HS teams and the Ice Breakers will play. There will be more information to follow as the year progresses. Mike recognized Kayla Johnson and Jeff Karnik with the President s Award. We were a low end B2 team so struggled a little at most tournaments we played in 4 tournaments and won 5 games so at least we weren't the worst. I think everybody had fun and definitely developed by the years end. I would consider this season a very successful season, not by wins but by how well the kids developed, the fact I had to deal with 0 off ice issues and all the kids got along and sa8id they had a lot of fun.

6 Coach: Stan Bantams: Bantam AA: No report at this time. Bantam B1 Red The Bantam B1 Red team had a successful season, culminating in a State Consolation Championship win! Record was They could compete against any team but struggled at times to come away with the W as evidenced by 8 ties, and 10 losses were 1-2 point games. Hopkins was a drivable tourney over Thanksgiving weekend with bracket play only drawback is 12 minute periods with no resurface but won consolation championship past two seasons. Duluth tourney was 16 team bracket play, had good competition, and is a great hockey town hotel (Suites in Canal Park) was reasonable & allowed us free use of mezzanine area for team gatherings. Fargo tourney was 16 team pool play, also had good competition, and is another great hockey town unfortunately no games at Scheels arena but played one in the new Farmers Union Insurance Center finished in fourth. Bantam B Black year end summary: First tournament was River lakes close and cheap. They do a decent job. Second was Detroit Lakes. Great competition and not too expensive Third was Chisholm great competition and a little far for a tournament but was good. Record was Coach: Todd Tenvoorde Bantam B2 White summary: The season went really well for us, we got very lucky with only having one major injury all year. We finished the season at , with being undefeated in our district during the regular season. The only tournament that I really disliked was the Brainerd in early December. I have nothing nice to say about the officiating crews that we ran into. While we were playing Brainerd my fellow coaches witness a player for Brainerd wrap a stick around our player's neck and throw him down in front of an official. There was no call whatsoever, luckily no injury occurred. Other than that I thought all tournaments we were entered ran fairly smooth and had no complaints with how they were ran. This was my first year as a Head Coach, and overall I was extremely happy with the association and how things were run. But I would like to have seen that HC, Treasurer, Manager meeting done within that first week of teams being announced. My manager and I had bumped heads on several occasions trying to organize things due to no system being in placed. There were other minor things that I had no clue on that the meeting cleared up. So if that meeting was held just a bit sooner I think that would be very beneficial to future teams that have similar issues. Ultimately, I was very happy and proud of the players and assistant coaches. They did a tremendous job working their butts off for our team. Whenever we had any minor hiccups we held the players responsible and they answered back with a positive attitude and made adjustments. It was truly a great season to watch the players grow on and off the ice. They were a great group of players and coaches, really could not ask for a better bunch. Time and time again those players proved that we were one of the best B2 teams on the ice and one of the best teams off the ice as well.

7 Also a big thank you to SCYHA, for the great opportunity! Coach: AJ Spears Girls: U15A 13 Skaters and 2 goalies for the past season/ skaters, and 2-3 goalies projected at the U15 level for the season. This does not include the 10 3rd year U15 skaters who are eligible for another year at the U15 level. D5, and D10 joined at the U15A level to allow for more district games in the It was a very strong conference again this year, with 4-5 teams consistently ranked in the state's top 10 all season long, including U15A State Champion Andover. Tournaments included: Roseau, Centennial, and Stillwater. Coaches for the U15 team this season included Head Coach Courtney Zack, and assistant coach Chris Murphy. A big thanks to Courtney for stepping up, and coaching this group of girls! Coach Zack had never coached girls before, and achieved his U15/ Bantam coaching level certification in order to help lead this team. Also a big thanks to Mike Petroske who put many hours into an exhaustive search to help find a new head coach to lead this great group of girls- thanks coach Petroske! Dan Staudinger was the team treasurer, and Jared Dahnke was the team manager. This group of girls had great practice attendance all year, their level of play grew by leaps and bounds over the course of the year, and most importantly they had fun! There is concern whether the Icebreakers will field a JV team next season, possibly adding to the projected U15 numbers for next season U12 s: The U12A's had 14 skaters and 1 goalie this season. It started off as the year of firsts...1st time this group played at an "A" level and the 1st year our goaltender played net. We joined with District 3 and District 5 for a total of 17 District games. We participated in 3 tournaments: Moorhead (3rd Place), Brainerd (3rd Place) and Osseo Maple Grove (5th Place). Our regular season ended at wins, 14 losses, and 7 ties. We faced a number of strong teams from "established" programs and also a number from "newly merged" co-ops that did so to become even more competitive. 6 teams we faced in District games rounded out the top 10 rankings in the State much of the year. We competed well every game only losing 1 game all season by more than 2 goals, 8 games by 2 goals, and 5 games by 1 goal. We faced-off against North Wright County (NWC) in a best of 2 for a trip to Regions and fell short losing both games by 1 goal margins. NWC went on to finish 3rd in State at the U12A level. The U12A's were led by Head Coach Robert Davidson and Assistant Coaches Brooke Rundell, Rob Poganski, Grant Dorniden, and Mark Chamernick. Heidi Chamernick was the team Manager and Dawn Tenvoorde the team Treasurer.

8 The projections for next year's U12s are a little uncertain...there should be 12 returning skaters and 1 goalie, although the "rumor mill" has a few potentially playing PeeWee's (Boys) instead. U10's: U10's For the first time in 6 years St Cloud Youth Hockey was able for field 2 teams at the U10 level. The girls really enjoyed practicing with each other, and benefited from so many talented coaches on the ice for their shared practices. There were several office activities which included both U10 teams: ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, the Icebreaker spaghetti dinner, women Husky games, and supporting their sister team at each other s games during district play. There were 22 skaters, and 2 goalies projected at the U10 level for the season. U10A The U10A team was led by head coach Ryan O'Hara, and the assistant coaches included Jared Smith, Pete Burkstrand, and Jeff Stevens. The team was made up of 11 skaters, and 1 goalie this past season. Tournaments included Anoka, Stillwater and a Warroad scrimmage fest. Jen Stevens was the team treasurer, and Mark Lenaghan was the team manager This was Coach O'Hara's first run at leading a girls team, and he was up to the challenge. Both the coaching staff, and the U10A girls had fun, and worked hard. The girls had a very good year finishing just under 500 in very competitive conference that included 19 district games with D5, D3, and D10. U10B 13 skaters, and 1 goalie this past season, including 2 new skaters. The U10B team was led by head coach Rob Ruprecht, and the assistant coaches included Jeremy Meyer, Ryan Gebhardt, and Eric Bauer. Tournaments included Fergus Falls, River Lakes, Moorhead, and Inver Grove Heights. Dan Staudinger was the team treasurer, and Donniel Robinson was the team manager. Coach Ruprecht did a great job leading the young U10 team which only had 2 second year U10 level skaters on it, and several early move-ups. The girls were eager to learn, and befitted from a positive environment from the entire coaching staff and parents. A solid season for a coach leading his first ever girls travel team!

9 Coach in Charge Report: A thank you to Coach Stanley for his countless hours of service. Coach Stanley reported that it was a good year with little issues. Mike will be President for another two years. 2 nd VP: Craig Anderson nominated Jay Condon. Jay accepted the nomination. There were no other nominations. Jay will be 2 nd VP for another two years. Secretary: Megan Cruzen nominated Amy O Neal. Amy accepted the nomination. There were no other nominations. Amy will serve as Secretary for another two years.
