Miguel Cabrera and Rajai Davis each had three hits to lead the Tigers offense. Davis had a double and drove in two runs, while Cabrera drove in one run. Alex Avila, Torii Hunter and Victor Martinez each added two hits in the loss. Justin Verlander started for Detroit and took the loss after allowing five runs, four earned, on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 1.0 inning. The Tigers conclude their three-city road trip tonight as they face the Pirates.
