Victor Martinez had three hits and scored a run to lead the Detroit offense. Miguel Cabrera went 2x4 with a run scored, while Bryan Holaday was 1x2 with two RBI. Anibal Sanchez started on the mound for the Tigers and took the loss after allowing five runs, four earned, on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts in 6.1 innings. The Tigers and White Sox play game two of their three-game series tonight. Following the series vs. Chicago, the Tigers remain home this weekend to host Colorado in a three-game set.
