Miguel Cabrera led the Tigers offense, going 2x3 with a run scored and two doubles. Victor Martinez was 1x4 with a RBI, while Ian Kinsler also drove in a run in the loss. Rick Porcello started for Detroit and took the loss after allowing six runs, five earned, on 10 hits with three strikeouts in 6.0 innings. The Tigers and Mariners play game two of their three-game weekend series tonight. DIRKS TO BEGIN INJURY REHAB TODAY: Outfielder Andy Dirks is scheduled to begin an injury rehabilitation assignment with Triple A Toledo tonight.
