37 EPWP Support Programme EPWP s goal is to create 1 million short-term work opportunities for unskilled, marginalised, unemployed people over the next 5 years EPWP will provide poverty and income relief through temporary work to carry out socially useful activities EPWP will seek to equip these people, with a modicum of training and work experience, which should enhance their ability to earn a living in the future The focus is on four sectors
