DJ & Dancing starting at 8 pm MEET VOYAGER S NEW GENERAL MANAGER, GEOFFREY CAMPBELL Originally from Carmel, Indiana, I come to Voyager from my position as manager of Tucson s Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort. I managed my first restaurant while an undergraduate at Purdue University. Sharing the same passion as my guests for continuous learning, I also studied music composition as a graduate student at Butler University. I ve enjoyed world travel, keeping detailed logs about the people, food and cultures I visited. These early experiences helped shape my expectations for the guest experience at each of my properties. I ve had the pleasure of working in several destinations other than Tucson, including Indianapolis, Boston, Newport, Kalamazoo, the Montana Northern Rockies and the Four Corners.. Prior to Hacienda Del Sol, I served as Resort Manager at The Resort at Paws Up, as Executive Housekeeper at Amangiri managed by Aman Resorts, and was the Director of Operations at Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson. Over the years I ve enjoyed a diversity of leadership positions in lodging, food service, outfitting and engineering. While operations will always remain my personal passion and area of expertise, I enjoy bringing a diversity of viewpoints to the table to ensure my guests receive a memorable and life changing experience. I live near Oracle with my twin boys, daughter, and two dogs. I enjoy spontaneous adventures with my family and getting lost in National Parks, wilderness areas and sporting goods stores. I look forward to serving as your General Manager and meeting each of you in the near future. 8 FAITH, GIVING & THANKS Voyager Chapel Pastor s Corner Advent A Season of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love Christmas is in the air, even here in the Sonoran desert. The days are growing shorter, the nights longer, and there s a distinct chill in the air. Even though the malls and online retailers remind us that there are only so many shopping days left before Christmas, we know that there is a far more significant reason for the season. Advent is a time of holy expectation. Of waiting. Of preparation for the coming of the Christ child. In fact, the word advent literally means coming. The four Sundays before Christmas we prepare our hearts for the season by recounting and remembering the prophecies that foretold of Christ s coming, the gospel stories of his birth, and the Miracle of the Christmas Moment. December 2 is Communion Sunday. The Advent candle for Hope will be lit. December 9 features an Ensemble from Desert Christian School, The Advent candle for Peace will be lit. December 16 includes a Children s presentation from Pantano Christian Church and Voyager s own BelleTones. The Advent candle for Joy will be lit. December 23 features the Voyager s Handbell Choir and Coyote Chorus. The Advent candle for Love will be lit. Finally, a special Communion and Candlelight Christmas Eve service is the perfect way to remember that God so loved the world! Please join us as we celebrate the Miracle of Christmas Blessings, Pastor David Pace CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE Monday, December 24 7:00 PM in the Ballroom David Pace, Chaplain Interdenominational All are welcome.
