1 Society & Corporate Golf Days 2012 Thank you for your interest in booking your golf day at Trent Lock. I have great pleasure in enclosing our society & corporate information illustrating the options available to you for your golf day. Rest assured, at Trent Lock our aim is to make your day a memorable one for all the right reasons. With this in mind our golf tariff has been designed to give golfers the freedom to tailor the package to meet their own individual needs & requirements. How to book To make your reservation you must first contact the Professional Shop who will be able to confirm what dates and times are available. Once you have agreed on a date and time you must complete the booking form enclosed in this pack. A deposit will be required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable and can t be transferred to cover the cost of your balance. A letter confirming receipt of your deposit and arrangements for your golf day will then be sent out to you. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of your reservation. Final numbers are required 7 days prior to your event. Please see our Terms & Conditions. If you require any Additional Services a member of the Golf Team will be happy to discuss your requirements at the time of booking. 2 About Us There s a special welcome for golf societies at Trent Lock. You can relax and enjoy the great golf, assured in the knowledge that the clubs facilities are second to none. The complete golf day experience awaits society members. Enjoy the opportunity to share the good things in life with fellow golfers. Member s of our golf team are more than happy to help plan your away day right down to the last detail leaving you free to relax, enjoy the hospitality and concentrate on your golf. Trent Lock nestles between the picturesque locks of the River Trent and within easy reach of the major motorway networks, train station and Nottingham East Midlands airport. A proprietary owned golf complex, Trent Lock provides a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for golfers and non-golfers alike. The clubhouse is the focal point of the complex and was built in 1992 to encompass panoramic views of the golf course and rolling countryside towards the River Trent itself. Without being imposing, the sumptuous surroundings are manicured and maintained to a high standard, oozing charm and sophistication throughout. Both the 9 hole course and the 18 hole Riverside course were designed with the needs of golfers of all abilities in mind. Each course represents a challenge, test of skill and offers a great deal of enjoyment. The Riverside Course has been designed to embrace a number of water features in a tranquil setting adjacent to the River Trent. Traditional features add to the attraction of the par 70 course which measures some 5986 yards in length. Each of the holes test the skill and nerve of players at all levels, providing a challenging yet satisfying round of golf with great views. The great attention to detail that prevails within the golf complex also extends to innovation on the driving range through the introduction of the very latest technology. Power Tees are a new concept in golf which allows the range ball to be electronically transported to the golf mat ensuring your concentration remains focused on your swing. The floodlit covered 22 bay driving range is open all year round (excluding Christmas Day) Our new short game area is of equally high quality with two greens, one of which is surrounded by bunkers and three hitting areas including true strike mats and a grass tee for approach shots. The short game area is perfect for practicing your pitching up to 100 yards and chipping, bunker play and putting around the green. You also won t be disappointed by the choice in our 6000 sq ft Professional Shop. As one of the largest on course golf outlets in the UK, we offer a stunning range of golf equipment, clothing and accessories. Importantly we offer a state of the art custom fitting service for those of you that are considering purchasing new clubs, whether it be a set of irons or a new driver. Locks Restaurant is an immensely popular haunt with a deserved reputation for fine food and exquisite surroundings. Overlooking a beautiful patio garden with an ornate water feature, its tasteful and elegant decor provides the ideal setting for a romantic dinner, family gathering, or special occasion.

8 Terms & Conditions 1. Deposits A non refundable deposit of 5.00 per person is required to secure your booking along with the completed booking form. Final numbers will be required 7 days prior to your golf day. Your final invoice will be based on these numbers Once your deposit has been received, a letter confirming the receipt of your deposit and arrangements for your golf day will be sent to you. Please double check this and contact a member of our golf team at your earliest convenience if there are any adjustments needed. 2. Settlement The total balance for your golf day is to be paid in advance or prior to you teeing off on the day of play. To ensure this runs smoothly we request the organiser collects the balance prior to settling the account for the golf day. Please note cheques to be made payable to Trent Lock Golf Centre 3. Cancellations/Postponements In the event of a cancellation of any booking the client will forfeit any deposit paid. It is also not possible to issue a credit note in lieu of any deposit paid. All cancellations must be made in writing. Final numbers for your golf party are required 7 days prior to your event. Your final invoice will be based upon this number. Tee times, food and any buggies pre booked must also be paid for in full if not cancelled more than 48 hours before your golf day. 4. Handicaps An official handicap certificate is not required, however, if a player s ability in the opinion of our Course Marshall or any member of our Golf Team is affecting other golfer s enjoyment due to slow play, for example, they will be asked to leave the course without having their fee refunded.

9 5. Rules & Etiquette All players will be expected to know and abide by the rules of golf and any local rules set out by Trent Lock Golf Centre. Appropriate golf attire is to be worn and our strict dress code must be adhered to at all times. Failure to do so will result in the individual being asked to leave the course without having their fee refunded. Appropriate dress code is deemed as the following; Shoes: Golf f shoes ONLY (no training shoes, dress shoes etc) Shirts: Collared shirts ONLY (no t-shirts, football shirts etc) Trousers: Tailored trousers ONLY (no jeans, tracksuits, ¾ length, cargo etc) Shorts: Tailored Shorts above the knee ONLY (no sports shorts, football shorts, cargo shorts etc) Tops: Sweater or Jacket ONLY (no hooded tops, football tops or football jackets etc) Shirts must be worn inside the waistband at all times. The sharing of golf bags and clubs is also not permitted at any time. Each player must have their own bag and clubs when playing the course. It is the organiser s responsibility to ensure the party abides by the rules & etiquette at all times. 6. Amenities & Changing Facilities Secure changing rooms and shower facilities are available to all guests. We do not provide a locker service so we advise visitors to ensure they securely lock their golf clubs and other possessions in their vehicle when not required, as we do not accept liability for the loss or damage to personal belongings or effects etc. 7. Designated Smoking Areas All buildings at Trent Lock Golf Centre including the driving range are designated non smoking areas. There are designated smoking areas located in Locks Garden or in the Nicklaus Function Suite balcony garden.

Post Code NG10 2FY From the M1 exit at Junction 24 Take the 2 nd exit signposted A50 Stoke Leave the A50 at Junction 1 signposted Long Eaton, leave the island at the 5 th exit on the B6540 to Sawley, Long Eaton. Continue along this road for approximately a mile and a half until you see signposts for Trent Lock Golf Centre on your right hand side. Turn right just after KAM Auto Centre signposted Trent Lock Golf Centre Continue approximately half a mile along this road. Trent Lock Golf Centre will now be visible on your right hand side. From the M1 exit at Junction 25 Take the 2 nd exit signposted towards Long Eaton. Passing the Novotel on your left you will approach a mini roundabout at which you should turn right towards Long Eaton. Continue until you approach a large roundabout with Long Eaton Train Station on your right hand side. Turn right at the roundabout under the railway bridge. Continue for approximately half a mile until you see signposts for Trent Lock Golf Centre on your left hand side. Turn left just before KAM Auto Centre, signposted Trent Lock Golf Centre. Continue approximately half a mile along this road. Trent Lock Golf Centre will now be visible on your right hand side.
