5 Tryout InformaMon Physical forms are due March 3rd, 2017 at Eisenhower HS office. If you have a physical on 4/15/2016 or aeer on file you are all set. RegistraMon on March 3 rd 2017 Indicate what team and posimon you want to try out for at registramon. Date: Tryouts begin Monday March 13 th 2017 LocaMon: Swinehart from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm Equipment Needed: Helmet & Mouth Guard, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, SMck, Cleats and Tennis Shoes if moved indoors. MUST HAVE ALL EQUIPMENT TO PARTICIPATE FinalizaMon of rosters will be made aeer Pre Season Scrimmage March 18th.

6 Tryout InformaMon VARSITY EvaluaMon Criteria A]tude Commitment to the Game Lacrosse IQ SMck Skills AthleMcism PosiMon/Role Availability Cuts ARE possible for Seniors Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman will be moved down to JVA or JVB if they do not make Varsity JVA & JVB Tryouts will be conducted together and players will be selected based on the same criteria listed above with the more advanced players being assigned to the JVA team Players invited to play up oeen risk reduced playing Mme in exchange for playing at a higher skill level. Moving up is a choice.

7 Coaching Philosophies Varsity Focus is on winning The best and most deserving players will play Play Mme is not guaranteed JVA Focus is on developing players to play Varsity All players will play but the best will get slightly more Mme. JVB Focus is on teaching the basics of the game and preparing the players to play at the next level. Most players will receive equal playing Mme.

Being dedicated to helping The Team Issues and Concerns The player needs to speak with the coach first in person. If further discussion is needed, refer to the UCS Parent/ Coach CommunicaMon guidelines. Never /text a coach with issues or concerns. MeeMngs can be set up with the coaches. 9 New Pre-Season CondiMoning 2 IKE Sessions Per Week Recommended for athletes not parmcipamng in a Winter sport. Starts week of January 9 th, 2017 Days: Monday and Wednesday 8 weeks leading up to the start of pracmce Time: 7:00 pm (IKE Strength, IKE CondiMoning) Cost: $50 due the 1 st day of condimoning check payable to Ike Lacrosse Club or cash. Includes T-Shirt

10 LAX Skills Workshops with All-American One aeernoon per week, 8 weeks Starts week of January 9 th, 2017 Days: Tuesday for Group 1 / Thursday for Group 2 8 weeks leading up to the start of pracmce Time: 4:00 5:30 pm (at the New Rink) 2SP Training Facility Cost: $128 payable to All-American Lacrosse This price also includes the two IKE workout sessions for Three Workout Sessions per week.

11 LAX Skills Workshops with All-American IniMal Interest If you would like to sign up for either the IKE Sessions for $50.00 or both Ike and the All American Workshop for $ please fill out the forms Coach Mike will have AFTER the meemng.
