John Allen went too fast in front and he was still 400m but the Denman 6yo died on his run in the final 200m. Dean Yendall has a good association on the horse and we could see a form turnaround at big odds today. Sircconi shares the 2 nd line with the Snowden trained Grande Rosso. The latter is looking at very attractive odds and will cop our full support. Last start he finished 1.75lens from Cliff s this track & trip carrying 60.5k. Drops to 58k today and Damian Lane takes over the riding from Kerrin McEvoy. 2 Does appear to be tough contest. We think the Darren Weir trained Leather n Lace could improve further 3 rd run back. Damian Lane sticks onboard suggesting they are going all out to win this event. The Tony McEvoy stable are throwing in a strong challenge in the form of Cool Passion. This 7yo mare finished 2.2 lens 4 th to Grey Shadow in a Bm90 contest restricted to mares over 1100m first-up. Should have benefitted nicely from that outing. Luke Currie takes over the reins from appr. Lachlan King which also helps his chances dramatically. The Toby Edmonds trained Winter Bride won the G3 How Now for Mares on resuming carrying 55k and goes up to 57k in this event. Ryan Maloney retains the mount. Don t like the early odds about this one but we understand where it is coming from. Booker, Fragonard, Our Malambo, Princess Of Queens and Fuhryk ALL look to be offered up at value odds. Tough contest but one which could throw out a MASSIVE First4 IF the favourite fails to fill a place in the top 4 due to the uncertainty that racing throws at us. The Snitzel 4yo entire failed miserably in the 1600m G1 Epsom last start but he did start from gate 19 and was ridden by an apprentice rider. Jason Collett jumps back onboard & you can expect a much bolder run. The Gary Moore stable have the All Too Hard 4yo All Too Huiying engaged in this affair. The 4yo entire has been up since August. Two starts back he finished 3.7lens from Noire in the G2 Shannon Stakes after beginning awkwardly and losing his off-fore plate. Failed with Kensington last 1800m but we ve forgiven that run entirely. His win this track is 4 wins and 3 placings from his 7 starts. Brad Rawiller is also the key to this I Am Invincible gelding having won 3 of his 5 rides on the 7yo. Snitty Kitty is just inches away in 2 nd spot after our intensive analysis. The Henry Dwyer trained 5yo mare resumed with a very pleasing 2.8 len 4 th to Viddora in the G1 Moir the Valley after racing 3 wide without cover throughout. May not improve 2 nd up but may not have to to land this either. We have not added any improvement to that WFA rating for today s contest. Mark Zahra sticks onboard. Odds will need to improve to get our attention. Savanna Amour and Ball Of Muscle cannot be safely eliminated. Both look to be offered up at excellent value in early markets. The Hayes/Dabernig 6yo Faatinah looks to be at very attractive odds in early markets. Last start the Page 2 of 6

3 gelding was up in the lead very early and was still there in turn. After being 600m when racing tightly, he ended up finishing just 3.5 lens from Ball Of Muscle under the lights of the Valley. Flamberge has not won a race for 933 days. The Ellerton/Zahra 9yo resumes from a 21 week spell. Has been most consistent since resuming this campaign & we have no reason to assume this will change on the suitable Heavy track. The Jenny Graham trained Awesome Pluck has the potential to offer up the strongest opposition to our favourite. This 4yo Pluck gelding resumes from a long 34week spell but we re assuming the stable have poured the work into him given the amount of prizemoney on offer. Tim Clark wouldn t be onboard unless this is the case. The fact he won a barrier Port Macquarie by 8.3 lens suggests they are in this to win it the money could also come in handy. Scone based trainer Rod Northam has the 7yo After All That engaged and we think he looks good value in the early markets. Was just 1 len from Ball Of Muscle in the G2 Randwick on resuming. R. Thompson sticks onboard. May OR may not improve 2 nd up? Victorem has a great record and has only start on Heavy. B. Looker is his regular winning rider. This is a horse that excels in Heavy ground as does our 2 nd elect Jungle Edge. The Greg Hickman trained Pierata cannot be discarded either but we re not happy with his current price. The drop from his 1600m last start to the 1200m today isn t seen as a concern; however we don t have strong wet form against 1 st class opposition to draw upon. The Bjorn Baker team have Egyptian Symbol backing up after a dismal 6.7 len 8 th in the G2 Sheraco run in Heavy8. We don t think he failed due to the track condition but the Vet did find speedy cuts to his off hind pastern which could account for the flop. This isn t an easy race to predict and thus a First4 dividend could be enormous. Don t know how the Cummings camp got to rejuvenate the old Hartnell last start. It was like going back in time to Was it simply the genius of Bowman? Only has to improve a fraction on that effort to win this. The other Godolphin runner on the top line is Jungle Cat. We won brilliantly with him last start and we re not jumping off the 6/7yo. Has the services again of super hoop James Doyle for the Charlie Appleby team. Has yet to be the 1600m so that s the only query we have with him. Shillelagh is racing well but looks bad value in early markets. The Waterhouse / Bott team might be in for a good day if Siege Of Quebec lives up to his promise. First run the anti-clockwise Melb. direction is a potential concern. Drawn well enough to get a good run for Michael Walker. Would be shorter if he had proven Vic- direction efforts. The rain has caused havoc with betting markets. The Hayes/Dabernig Lope de Vega gelding Vega Magic just comes out on top. We expect he will handle the Heavy track well and we assumed this team will have him right at his peak being his 3 rd run following a 10w let-up. Olly to ride. The 4yo Fastnet Rock mare Shoals gets weight relief from the guys and his 100% win record on Soft or Heavy tracks is a real bonus. Tim Clark is also a big plus. 5 water on the fact that U S Navy Flag flopped in his only Heavy track effort back in Apr. 18. Randwick has the best drainage of any track in Australia. The winner on that Heavy track in Ireland ran for the 1408m? So this wasn t a Heavy10 it was a Bog. Only a 3yo and his win in the G1 July Cup at Newmarket was awesome. The Coolmore Stud would love to win this as this would ensure a massive stud fee. Ryan Moore is a fantastic rider & if he gives the animal the ok in the Heavy conditions, then we ll join him onboard. The Kris Lees team have a chance of landing this with In Her Time.
