Craig Williams rides well for Mick Price & he replaces Olly ULMANN was shot up to Adelaide to race in the Penny Edition but the clouds opened and he flopped in the Heavy9. Was at silly odds but we didn t mind as Rocket Commander provided a $65k First4 for members. We may jump onboard this Darren Weir Sebring 5yo if the odds improve to match ours. Olly onboard RIZIZ finished a gallant 2 nd to Rocket Commander in the Penny Edition run in Heavy9 and followed that up with a moderate 1.4 len 5 th in the Balaclava Cup in the same track conditions. Racing well and might appreciate the slightly dryer surface today with Dom Tourneur engaged for Ken Sweeney HI WORLD resumed from a let-up to finish 2.45 len 5 th behind He s Our Rokkii. Was ridden by appr. Could advance today & we look likely to be onboard. JUNOOB was thrown into a 1600m contest last start which followed a let-up. Did not race too badly considering the 62k and the short trip. Only needs to run within 1 len to his Winter Cup ratings to cause an upset today. Hugh Bowman is onboard the Chris Waller 9yo. SONG AND LAUGHTER has potential for a smaller bet if the odds hold up. Yet to win first-up but has not been that far away in his fresh runs. FAATINAH could easily win this if fit enough first-up for the Hayes / Dabernig yard. They have opted for an apprentice in Regan Bayliss for today s return however we ve given the young hoop a small bonus as he s riding very well for this stable. GENERALIFE can race exceedingly well 2 nd up from a spell. It was a good effort first-up to finish just 3.2 lens from Tycoon Tara in the Show this trip. The track conditions do not matter with this chap & he s rated strongly on this straight six track & trip. Craig Williams a great engagement SANTA ANA LANE was a fine 1.15 len 3 rd to Redzel in The Caulfield when resuming for the Freedman brothers. Has won 2 nd up however this is his first test down the straight six Flemington course. D. Moor may ride ½k over as he struggles to 53k. Tim Clark knows the Les Bridge trained 4yo gelding very well & he gets a nice bonus from us for his winning consistency. Should win but early odds are far too stingy for us. Has won 2 nd up so that syndrome might not be a factor. REBEL DANE should be nearing his peak following 2 runs this time in. Has not been too far away considering the company he was racing against. Tom Berry again onboard. Love the early odds. Has won 50% of his this track & runs consistently on most Good or Soft conditions. OLD NORTH could be forward enough to worry this line-up. Comes into this first-up from a 3½mth spell but his first up (3 from 7) record suggests we cannot dismiss his the 1600m today. Should be nicely improved by that hit-out and Brenton Avdulla is riding well for this stable. HEAVENS ABOVE is another Street Cry sired mare. The T. Martin 5yo resumed with a pleasing 1.6 len 4 th behind Pearls in the Toy 1300m. Drops back 100m 2 nd up is a strange option but the stable has engaged Tye Angland to steer her from a tidy gate 3. Is trained on the track but yet to win here with 4 2 nds FINE MIST can put in ripper runs first-up. Last April, on resuming the Paul Murray 5yo mare finished just 1.8lens from Furnaces in the $126k XXXX Gold Hawkesbury. She went seriously backwards after that hit-out but if she repeats that performance, she can land big odds. Blake Spriggs rides her well NANCY usually runs a bold race first-up however early odds have her far too short for us. Blake Shinn is onboard for the consistent Snowden stable. CANA was scratched from a Melb. race to take her place in this contest. Beat Don t Doubt Mamma here first-up last campaign in the 3yo Fillies G2 Kewney Stakes & no doubt would have been set for this event. THAMES COURT was unlucky to run into an inform Ocean Embers when resuming in the Caulfield. Sat up in 2 nd throughout and it looked the likely winner 50m out only to be swamped by the backmarker. Should be improved by that effort and Ryan Maloney rewarded with another ride. DON T BLAME MAMMA is a smart mare on her day. The suggested early odds however are a little short for us but this may change. MY SISTER LIL rated reasonably 4 th run in & could do a fraction better if in the mood.
