3 4-H Photographers WANTED!!! The National Wild Turkey Federation organizes a special day just for women to learn about the outdoors and experience many outdoor activities. They are looking for 4-H helpers to photograph the event. Photos will be used in NWTF advertising and for their publications. It will be a GREAT experience and a wonderful recordbook item in community service, promote 4-H and in the photography project as well! You do NOT have to be an experienced photographer or have fancy equipment. You can volunteer for a couple of hours or for the entire day. The attached flier has a full listing of the classes available, but some of the most popular are ATV, handgun, hawking, kayaking, and wagon driving. Many of the stations will allow the kids to try the event, however 4-Hers should NOT expect this, as there are limitations on supplies and time. Elizabeth Coffman will be giving the photography class again this year, so if there are any volunteers to help (speaking or non-speaking role), just give her a shout! You will get credit for doing a photography presentation for your recordbook at the county level. Who: All 4-Hers MALE and FEMALE!!!! 8 years old and up, however ages 8-10 please have a parent along (I won't be able to supervise due to the class I'm teaching) What: Women in the Outdoors Event When: 11 June, 7:30-5:30 (can volunteer for shorter time) Where: Hilliard Ranch (see attached flier) Why: Because it is a MAJORLY FUN day!!!
