9 Ethics Policy Changes The only significant edit to the document is on page 2. A line has been added where families can place the address of the project(s) if the project(s) is located at a location other than the family s address. Specifically, the wording states: If livestock project(s) will be raised at a location/ facility different from address provided on carbon validation form, please complete information below. In addition, Rule 5 was changed. It was changed to provide clarification regarding the potential loss of state validated livestock project ownership through participation in livestock shows/auction prior to exhibition at Texas major livestock shows. The purpose of rule 5 is to prevent state validated animals from being sold at multiple livestock shows. This includes terminal shows & livestock shows that auction livestock projects by live weight and state validation number. Premium and Ribbon auctions are EXEMPT from Rule 5 if they meet the following criteria: the show is auctioning off a placing, ribbon, banner or accomplishment of the exhibitor NOT the state validated livestock project.
