Mike Fiers started for the Tigers and suffered the loss, allowing four runs on four hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 5.0 innings. The Tigers and Indians play the second game of their three-game series tonight. Over his current streak, Jones is hi ng.310 (9x29) with three runs scored, two doubles, one home run and four RBI. Jones streak is ed for the second-longest ac ve streak in the American League. GETTIN IGGY WITH IT: José Iglesias went 1x3 in last night s game and has now hit safely in 21 of his last 25 games with at least one at-bat. STUMPF INJURY REHAB UPDATE: LHP Daniel Stumpf made an injury rehab appearance with Triple A Toledo last night at Charlo e, throwing a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. In two injury rehab ou ngs with the Mud Hens, Stumpf has a 4.50 ERA (2.0IP/1ER) with three strikeouts.
