Jimenez has not allowed an earned run in 11 of his last 12 ou ngs, pos ng a 0.79 ERA (11.1IP/1ER) with 15 strikeouts during that stretch. Jimenez is ed for the American League lead with 31 appearances, while he ranks eighth among AL relievers (min innings pitched) with a 2.54 ERA (28.1IP/8ER). SERIES-LY SPEAKING: The Tigers clinched their fi h straight home series win with yesterday s victory over the Blue Jays. It marked the first me Detroit have won five straight series at Comerica Park since winning six straight series from May 1/6-June 23, Overall, the Tigers are in series this season.
