Three times this season, the Horned Frogs have draw 10 or more walks. THE STOPPER In 2017 Durbin Feltman set the school record and finished second in the NCAA with 17 saves. It was just the sixth time in program history a pitcher has recorded double-digit saves in a season. Feltman has three saves this season and 29 in his career. The junior needs just four saves this year to break Riley Ferrell s career mark of 32 set from FRESH FACES This season, 12 newcomers have made their TCU debut. Eight have made their first career start in the field, while four others toed the rubber for the first time. Adam Oviedo, Coby Boulware, Conner Shepherd, A.J. Balta, Danny Crews, Colton Parrish and Tristan Hanoian have all collected their first career hits, while James Notary tallied his first career save and Russell Smith earned his first career win. EXTRA, EXTRA TCU has played 58 extra inning games since 2004 and holds a mark in those games. The Frogs went to extra innings for the second time in 2018 in Game 2 against Minnesota. TCU prevailed 5-4 in the 13th inning, giving them a 9-1 record in extra innings dating back to the 2015 campaign. The 13-innings is the most played since TCU defeated Texas A&M in 15 innings on March 4, 2016.
