The Braves were shut out for the first time this season last night, as Max Scherzer tossed a twohitter to win, The Braves were blanked in 10 games last season, with the last time coming on September 24 vs. Philadelphia. The Braves have scored six runs against tonight s opposing starter, Stephen Strasburg, in each of their last two games against him...they beat him 13-0 at Nationals Park on July 8 of last season and then on June 12 here...in his last four games against the Braves here in Washington, Strasburg is 0-2 with a 9.19 ERA (16 ER/15.2 IP).
