3 Get Loose with Lance - July Social Article By Lance August barbecue was another great ski club event. Dave Lopez hosted this event. We had over 30 happy (see pics) members and guests. The weather was perfect and we had three grills barbecuing members food. Please thank Dave when you see him. On Saturday, September 23, we have a special wine tasting event at Barbara Nelson s home. This wine tasting will be different. Members will be charged $ Barbara and I will have special appetizers to go along with 5 different wines, 3 red and 2 white wines to taste. This wine tasting is limited to 30 guests. It is important that I receive you rsvp by Tuesday, September 19th. We need the time to prepare for this event. A flyer will be blasted with details. On Saturday, October 21 st at 5pm we will have our annual Open House event at the Cerritos Bahia Yacht Club located behind the Golden Sails motel on PCH. Watch for details in upcoming flyer. If you are the skier who wants a private room, we have those with a small single supplement. We also have an opening for a lady skier to share a room and one preferred room for a couple. These will sell soon, so please don t wait if you want to travel with the LB Ski Club. Safety in numbers and unlimited vertical feet on over 65,000 Acres (think Mammoth time 10!) Stay tuned for our flyer next week that will go after the board meeting for our newly released domestic ski week. Will is be Steamboat Springs? Or, Summit County Colorado? We re going to have our own ski trip for LBSC members. Just thinking of snow is exciting, I can hardly wait. You can come to the Board Meeting on Wednesday, Sept 13, to participate in the discussion.
