1 Saturday, Jan. 23 vs. Minnesota-Duluth No. 15 PIONEERS (11-7-5, NCHC) vs. No. 19 BULLDOGS (8-9-5, NCHC) PUCK DROP - 7:06pm; WEB - NCHC.TV & PioneerVision; RADIO - ESPN Dever 1600 AM Pios Looking to Complete Weekend Sweep of Bulldogs Tonight: Denver extended its unbeaten streak to a season-high seven games (4-0-3) last night, earning a 3-2 comeback win over Minnesota-Duluth at Magness Arena. The Bulldogs scored twice in the opening seven minutes of play to take an early 2-0 lead but the Pioneers stormed back with three unanswered tallies - one by junior center Matt Marcinew and two, including the GWG, from sophomore winger Danton Heinen - to take the decision by a onegoal margin. In a relief appearance, junior goaltender Evan Cowley made a season-high 39 saves in net for DU to capture his fifth victory of the season. The lorida Panthers prospect entered the game following UMD s second goal and held the Bulldogs scoreless over the course of his 53:47 of action. Denver is now all-time against UMD, a record which includes a mark since the formation of the NCHC in Karson Kuhlman and Austin arley scored for Minnesota-Duluth yesterday in a losing effort while Kasimir Kaskisuo made 26 saves in falling to on the season. The Bulldogs are now in their last eight games. #19 Minnesota Duluth vs #15 Denver (Jan 22, 2016 at Denver, Colo.)
