U SPORTS AWARDS CEREMONY Date : Thursday, March 16 th Site : Grand Salon (Pavillon Desjardins de l Université Laval) Cost : 70$ (up to 20 people) Additional Tickets : 90$ Schedule : 6:00pm reception 6:30pm U SPORTS Awards Ceremony Dress : Semi-formal Distance from hotel : 1.8 km Reservations must be sent by: Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 8:00 pm EST. The participating universities must complete and return Appendix A to Marie-Claude Fréchette (Appendix will be available in bulletin # 2). All-Canadian nominees and major prize finalists who aren t participating in the Championship will have access to a free U SPORTS Banquet ticket. Guests of these athletes can obtain tickets for the banquet at a cost of $90. Nominees must complete and return Appendix B to Marie-Claude Fréchette (Appendix will be available in bulletin # 2). Tickets will be available for visiting university coaches at a cost of $90. They must complete and return Appendix C to Marie-Claude Fréchette (Appendix will be available in 2). MEETINGS TECHNICAL MEETING Date: Thursday, March 15 th Time: 21:15 Location: Site to be determined FYI: Two rooms will be available for teams to hold meetings, or to serve as a study room. A reservation sheet will be installed on the doors. Teams are responsible for booking as needed. 7. MEDIA PRESS CONFERENCE & ACCREDITATION PRESS CONFERENCE: PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP PRESS CONFERENCE (without team representatives) * At this press conference, we will announce the championship draw to our local media. 7 MEDIA ACCREDITATION: U SPORTS will be sending an accreditation form in January. All media accreditation requests must be sent to Mathieu Tanguay (mathieu.tanguay@sas.ulaval.ca) before Monday, March 11, 2018 at 12 pm EST 8. CHAMPIONSHIP HOTEL U SPORTS policy : All participating teams and team personnel attending a U Sports Championship requiring accommodation must stay at the U Sports Championship designated host hotel. 8 9. CAR RENTAL A shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to the airport for U SPORTS dignitaries, nonparticipating coaches and all-canadian nominees. To benefit from this service, you must complete and return appendix D (the appendix will be available in 2) to : martinb27@videotron.ca. 10. REGISTRATION AND TEAM ACCREDITATION Teams must send their travel plans to martinb27@videotron.ca. The teams will be welcomed at the hotel. Each team will receive 20 accreditations. For all additional inquiries, including Sports directors and rectors, please send your request to Martin Bédard (martinb27@videotron.ca) by Monday, March 12, 2018 at 12 pm EST. Accreditation will be given to visiting university coaches, non-participating athletes nominated for U SPORTS major prizes and All-canadian teams, Athletics directors and rectors of other universities. If these accreditations are needed, confirmation must be received by March 12, 2018 at 12:00 PM EST. Please send your confirmation to Martin Bédard (martinb27@videotron.ca).

10 Locker rooms: Available during games for teams in action 12.2 EQUIPMENT : Game Ball: Mikasa MVA 200 Net: Spieth-Anderson no guy cable appropriate padding Video: Teams are responsible to bring their system THERAPY / MEDICAL SERVICES : Our host medical staff (student therapists and physiotherapist) will be onsite during the championship. Our physician will be on-call. Emergency appointments with our on-campus sports medicine physician are available if so required. Appointments are to be made through the physiotherapist. The attending medical staff personnel will introduce themselves prior to each event, and be able to assist you with any needs prior, during or following your event. If you need to buy any medical supply, it will be possible to do so through the Rouge et Or medical clinic. Practices - a host student therapist or physiotherapist will be present on site to assist with any medical inquiries or emergency procedures that may be needed for the official practices. On Wednesday, the physiotherapist will come by to meet the visiting team's medical staff and coaches. Games - a certified physiotherapist will be by the court during all games and he or she will be in charge of the Emergency Action Protocol 12.4 LAUNDRY : Team uniforms may be washed at the PEPS upon request. We are not responsible for damage or lost items.

11 12.5 HOSPITALITY ROOMS (guests, sports directors and coaches) The Salon Desjardins-Université Laval (room 2878) will be open on competition days, one hour before the start of the first game, until the end of the last game.
