1 Newsletter #18 / 1 November 2018 Honours for our Top Achievers The annual Honours Dinner was held on 18 October in the school hall. Our top learners who have excelled in academics, sports, service and culture were recognised for their outstanding achievements at this event. Courteney Pienaar received the evening s top award - HONOURS TRIPLE COLOURS - from our Principal, Mr Wilke, in acknowledgement of obtaining Senior Full Colours in Academics, Swimming and Water Polo. The Honours Dinner is held annually as an exclusive event for top achievers in Grades 10, 11 and 12. Only those learners who have obtained Senior Full Colours and Honours at Rand Park during the year are invited to attend. Succeeding at this level requires absolute dedication, perseverance, commitment and most importantly, excellence. The Colours and Honours roll is published in the annual school magazine, The Oriole, which is distributed at the end of the academic year to all learners. Congratulations to our top achievers who received Senior Full Colours and Honours this year. We are proud of your successes in the classroom; on the sports field; in the cultural arena and in the service to others.
