2 Cannons Creek Water Polo Tournament Our Herschel U13A and Water Polo team took part in the annual Cannons Creek Water Polo Tournament this weekend. The team were exceptional in the pool rounds and then beat Springfield 5-1 in the semis and Sun Valley 4-1 in the final. Tyra-Lee Penney and Alexa de Villiers were selected for the tournament team and Alexa won top goal scorer of the A league tournament. Our Herschel Invitational team made up of Grade 5, 6 & 7 girls also took part in this tournament. They played U13A teams in the B league of the tournament. They beat Pinehurst U13A 3-0, Fish Hoek U13A 9-0, Cannons Creek U13A 9-1 and drew 2-2 to, eventual winners, Bridge House. They finished 4th overall in the B League. 2
