3 CONGRATULATIONS! Yu have been chsen either as a selectee r an alternate t attend the CCM Minnesta Hckey High Perfrmance 14 MN Hckey Develpment Camp. The festival will be held at St Clud State University, St Clud, MN June 10-14th, Please read the cntents f this bklet carefully. Call r Jenna Traut if yu have questins. TUITION: The tuitin fr attending the camp is $650 per player. Players must have been brn in 2004 and played n a yuth r high schl team during the seasns. The develpment Camp registratin deadline is May 25th at Alternates d nt registered until yu are called as a replacement player. If a player leaves the camp prir t its cnclusin r is dismissed there will be n refund f tuitin. ROOM KEYS AND DAMAGES TO ROOMS OR FACILITIES: Please nte that St Clud State University charges $50 fr the replacement f a lst key. It is imprtant that yur player keep track f their drm rm key at all times. Als, yur player will be respnsible fr any damage t the drm rm r any ther campus facilities. Lst key and damage charges must be paid befre leaving the camp. Unpaid balances will result in a player deemed nt in gd standing with MN Hckey and ineligible fr future prgrams until payment is received. This camp is rganized and cnducted by administratrs f Minnesta Hckey. It is thrugh their effrts and cuntless hurs f dedicated planning that makes this develpment camp a reality. FESTIVAL REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN: Check-in will be held at Shemaker Residence Hall Sunday, June 10, 2018 using the fllwing schedule. 5 GENERAL INFORMATION All participants are respnsible fr knwing and cmplying with the fllwing. 1. DORMITORY : a) There will be tw players assigned t each rm and gruped by team. b) Players will nt change rms r rmmates t which yu have been assigned. c) Players will inspect their rms at check-in. A frm will be prvided that yu must return t the check-in area after the inspectin. d) If damage ccurs in yur rm reprt it prmptly t the Festival Directr. Any csts invlved fr damage will be yur respnsibility. e) D nt mve furniture frm rm t rm. f) Flush tilets and urinals, Keep yur rm clean, D nt litter g) Radis, etc. must be kept at rm level vlume. h) Sunflwer seeds are nt allwed. i) Drmitry drs will be lcked at 10:00PM. Lights ut means be in bed. j) Keep rm keys and ID tags n yur persn at all times. k) USE OF ELEVATORS IS A PRIVILEGE NOT A RIGHT. DO NOT ABUSE THIS PRIVILEGE OR THE ELEVATORS WILL BE PLACED OFF-LIMITS FOR ALL PLAYERS. 2. DAILY SCHEDULE: Check the daily schedule frequently as changes may ccur. 3. YOU MAY NOT LEAVE THE CAMPUS FOR ANY REASON! PARENTS PLEASE SUPPORT THIS RULE. 4. ON/OFF ICE ACTIVITIES: a) Wear all prtective equipment, including muth guards, r n ice time. b) Wear yur assigned jersey, scks, and caps. 5. MEALS : a) Yu will have apprximately 30 minutes each fr breakfast and lunch. These meals will be served in Garvey Cmmns Cafeteria. PLEASE BE PUNCTUAL The dining area will be busy. b) All players, caches, cunselrs, fficials, and administratrs will have dinner tgether each evening in Garvey Cmmns. 5

6 b) COME TO DINNER AS A TEAM. All team members must be present befre a team will eat. c) WE DO NOT WEAR CAPS WHILE EATING! d) DO NOT SKIP MEALS Lay ff the junk fd. Drink gd amunts f water, milk, and sprt drinks. Cnsume mderate amunts f sft drinks. 6. INJURIES/ILLNESS : We will have a Certified Athletic Trainer n ur staff fr yur benefit. Reprt all injuries/illness prmptly n matter hw minr. 7. GAMBLING: Abslutely n gambling in any frm will be allwed. 8. IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL: Any disrespect displayed tward a staff member, university persnnel r anther player may result in yur immediate dismissal. 9. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY: We have a zer tlerance plicy in regard t behavir that is deemed t be detrimental t this festival. Use and r pssessin f a cntrlled substance including drugs and alchl, firearms r any device that may be used t inflict bdily harm are strictly prhibited. Abusive language, fighting, r ther frms f pr sprtsmanship, n r ff the ice, will nt be tlerated. 10. ATTENDANCE/TARDINESS: Attendance at all sessins is mandatry. Excused absences will be allwed nly upn the recmmendatin f ur Athletic Trainer r an attending Medical Dctr. It is expected that yu will be present at all sessins at the designated time. 11. DO NOT BRING THESE ITEMS WITH YOU: ROLLER BLADES OR SKATE BOARDS PERSONAL TVs, REFRIGERATORS MOTOR VEHICLES, MOTORCYCLES, ETC. Yu are nt allwed t ride in a vehicle n campus except with yur parents/legal guardian n the day f arrival and departure. 12. PRO SHOP/SUPPLIES: Pr-shp in the arena will be pen daily fr skate sharpening, purchase f tape, and SCSU hckey clthing. 6

7 13. OFFICIAL CAMP APPAREL: Signature Cncepts, the fficial Clthing vender f Minnesta Hckey, will have apparel nline. All rders will be shipped t the participants hmes prir t the start f camp. EQUIPMENT AND PERSONAL ITEMS CHECKLIST PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT Bring all f yur prtective equipment Helmets with full-face mask must be HECC apprved. Muth guards are mandatry. All players bring sufficient sticks fr the entire week. Minnesta Hckey will prvide team clred jersey, scks, and string bag. PERSONAL ITEMS Tiletries, scks (several pair), casual pants, walking shrts, bath twels (three r fur), face clths, tennis shes, underwear (several pair), casual shirts, alarm clck, bar sap, shamp, dedrant, etc. Mney. It is recmmended that yu bring a limited amunt f cash, perhaps $50. Use yur wn discretin. The weather will be unpredictable s bring a light jacket and sweatshirt fr thse chilly days. Rain is pssible s rain gear is nt a bad idea. The university will furnish the fllwing items. Sheets, pillwcase, pillw, blanket, ne twel and ne face clth. Cell phnes are allwed but they MUST be turned ff during classes, meetings, and meals. Cell phnes r cameras are NOT allwed inside the lcker rms during the summer camp accrding t USA Hckey and Minnesta Hckey plicies. Phnes 7
