In comparison wih previous modes, he Uravap Misra has a smaer fooprin, aowing beer access and saving vauabe bench space. The evaporaion abe is abe o rise under he conro of a sepper moor as he drying process proceeds. This can be programmed a a suiabe rae for each soven ype being evaporaed. In addiion, gas emperaure, pressure and fow rae can a be programmed individuay and sored in up o hiry mui-sep programmes on he Uravap Misra conroer. Each programme aows he abe o rise in up o five disinc ramped phases, so ha a fas iniia drying period can be foowed by a gener fina drying phase. The new Uravap Misra is usuay ocaed on he righ-hand side of he robo deck. Conro commands are sen direcy from he robo conroer o he Misra. These sandard commands are ised in he manua, bu mos robo manufacurers have drivers avaiabe o conro he Misra, making inegraion a seamess process. Using he aes CAN inerface echnoogy, any number of Misra unis can be conneced ogeher in series. A mehod seeced on a maser uni wi be auomaicay disribued over he CAN Bus o a he save unis, which wi hen begin o run he programme simuaneousy. In addiion, a maser can be operaed direcy over he bui-in RS232 ink, so ha programming can be carried ou remoey and sar/sop commands sen from a nework. Again, a save unis wi respond o hese commands, making he insrumen highy fexibe in he producion environmen. Saion I.D. numbers can be se and sored for each maser and save uni. Unis can easiy be aken ou of remoe conro mode, wihou disconnecing he CAN bus, for mainenance or where a randomaccess programme is required. Mos common chromaography sovens can be evaporaed wih ease, incuding dichoromehane, mehano, aceonirie and hexane. The nirogen bow-down mehod is no, however, suiabe for high-boiing poin sovens such as DMF, DMSO and waer. I is no recommended for use wih acids or acid chorides, as specia corrosion-resisan sysems are needed for his work. The choice of sraigh or spira needes aows he user o choose beween faser dry down (spira) and beer fina drying in V-we paes (sraigh). The spiras cause a vorex o form in he soven, increasing he surface area and hus speeding up he rae of evaporaion. Spira needes are ony suiabe for use wih square-we paes and arger vias. Evaporaor sysem requiremens The new Uravap Misra is designed o run from 110V or 220V a 50/60Hz using an auo-ranging power suppy.
