Beat the Mets last night 10-8, snapping their eightgame losing streak at Coors Field, the longest single-season losing streak in Coors Field history (lost nine games in a row in 1993 at Mile High Stadium). 2 #35 ROCKIES STARTING PITCHER CHAD BETTIS RHP Height: 6-0 Weight: 209 Age: 29 (April 26, 1989) Born: Lubbock, Texas Acquired: Selected in 2nd round, 2010 ACROSS THE BOARD The Lubbock, Texas, native a member of his third career Opening Day roster in his sixth Major League season. Selected by the Rockies in the second round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft out of Texas Tech University. Attended Monterey High School in Lubbock was named to the all-region team before his senior season drafted by the Houston Astros in the eighth round of the 2007 First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign.
