The Rockies returned to Interleague play this week as they host a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays for the first time since June 11-13, 2011 won 9-5 last night split a four-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks to begin the homestand. Tulowitzki was selected by the Rockies with the seventh overall pick of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft, and played parts of 10 seasons with Colorado from prior to being traded to Toronto on July 28 of last season. On Saturday, Gonzalez became the sixth player to reach 900 games with the Colorado Rockies. 2 #31 ROCKIES STARTING PITCHER EDDIE BUTLER RHP Height: 6-2 Weight: 180 Age: 25 (March 13,1991) Born: Chesapeake, VA Acquired: Selected in First Round (46th) of 2012 Draft FAST EDDIE Rockies 2012 first-round draft pick, selected 46th overall, will make his ninth start (12th appearance) of the 2016 season. Was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on April 27. Made 16 starts across two stints with the Rockies in 2015 went 3-10 with a 5.90 ERA (79.1 IP, 52 ER), 42 walks and 44 strikeouts. Was originally drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 35th round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign. LAST TIME OUT Made his eighth start of the season and did not receive a decision in the 7-6 Rockies loss pitched five innings and allowed six runs on a season-high tying 11 hits with two walks and four strikeouts. Allowed two home runs for the second appearance and the third time in his last four appearances has allowed at least one home run in five straight appearances.
