TOURNAMENT ELIGIBILITY Players that are currently suspended are nt eligible t cmpete in any sanctined turnaments and may nt receive Planeswalker Pints-based invitatins r be awarded byes t turnaments. Certain individuals may nt be eligible t cmpete in certain sanctined turnaments because f their emplyment status (e.g. Wizards, Hasbr, r ther emplyees). Turnaments are classified as pen r invitatin-nly. Any player may cmpete in an pen turnament as lng as he r she is nt currently suspended and satisfies the natinality eligibility requirements, meets the general turnament eligibility requirements set ut in the Magic: The Gathering Turnament Rules and any ther restrictins r requirements as listed under the descriptin fr that pen turnament. Only eligible players wh have received an invitatin frm Wizards may cmpete in invitatin-nly turnaments.

INVITATION REGULATIONS Invitatins awarded by means described within this plicy are fficially awarded nly upn Wizards verificatin f turnament results and reprts prvided by turnament rganizers t Wizards in the prper files and frms. Invitatins described in this plicy may nt be transferred r passed dwn frm ne player t anther, except as explicitly described in this plicy. Invitatins must be used fr the turnaments t which they apply and may nt be deferred t future events. A player s ability t cmpete in any particular turnament is subject t the requirements stated in this plicy, including withut limitatin, that each player meet the eligibility requirements fr that turnament and submit a signed cmpetitr waiver. Except as specifically stated and described in this plicy, invitatins may nt be renunced by players, and in the event that a player cannt (r chses nt t) use an invitatin, the invitatin will nt be assigned t anther player. If yu receive an invitatin, yu acknwledge and grant Wizards permissin t publish yur name in the apprpriate Turnament Invitatin List. Turnament invitatin lists are published n the Magic: The Gathering website in the apprpriate turnament fact sheet. Invitatins, byes, and any ther awards assciated with thse invitatins r byes will nt be awarded until cmplete event results are reprted t, received, and reviewed by Wizards. If a turnament fficial incrrectly r imprperly issues an invitatin fr any reasn, Wizards reserves the right, at its sle discretin, t withhld any and all invitatins, byes, and ther awards assciated with thse invitatins r byes fr an event. Invitatins, byes, and any ther awards assciated with thse invitatins r byes may be rescinded by Wizards upn investigatin. Any such decisins are final and cannt be appealed. Certain invitatin criteria in this dcument require a player t be a member f the Pr Tur Players Club. Infrmatin abut the Pr Tur Players Club can be fund at the Pr Tur Players Club Infrmatin page. 4 3. PRIZE ELIGIBILITY Premier Events and Pr Tur Players Club Membership may ffer awards in the frm f prizes, airfare, and htel awards (each a Travel Award and cllectively, Travel Awards ). Each award is subject t the terms f this plicy and any ther plicy r agreement as determined by Wizards. If a player earns a Travel Award and the player is subsequently suspended befre r during the turnament t which the player has been awarded the Travel Award, such player (1) is nt eligible t cmpete in the turnament, and (2) frfeits his r her Travel Award. A player is eligible in part fr a Travel Award if he r she either: Has played in a particular Premier Event and has placed in the final standings where such an award wuld be earned accrding t fact sheet published by Wizards r an authrized turnament rganizer fr that particular Premier Event; r Is f sufficient membership level in the Pr Tur Players Club t receive such an award (as determined by Wizards). Mnetary prizes r Travel Awards earned at the fllwing Premier Events are issued by the U.S. ffices f Wizards f the Cast LLC: Pr Tur Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship Wrld Magic Cup Wrld Magic Cup Qualifiers Reginal Pr Tur Qualifiers Grand Prix Super Sunday Series Champinship Super Sunday Series Qualifiers Nte: Mnetary prizes at these Premier Events are issued in U.S. Dllars. All prizes and Travel Awards based n membership in the Pr Tur Players Club are issued by the U.S. ffices f Wizards. Mnetary prizes fr these Premier Events are issued in U.S. dllars. All Mnetary Prizes are subject t the fllwing additinal terms and cnditins: All taxes are the respnsibility f the individual receiving the Mnetary Prize. Befre being awarded any Mnetary Prize, the ptential recipient must, amng ther things, submit t Wizards f the Cast LLC: (i) a signed Cnsent and Release Agreement, (ii) the apprpriate IRS tax frm, (iii) prvide prf f identificatin, and (iv) any ther dcumentatin designated by Wizards. A player eligible fr a prize must claim his r her prize within ne (1) year frm the date f the Premier Event in which he r she wn the prize, r the prize is frfeited. A player eligible fr a Travel Award must arrange that travel with Wizards f the Cast LLC r its designee n later than thirty (30) days prir t first day f the Premier Event t which he r she wn such Travel Award. Any travel arrangements nt made prir t this

All Travel Awards are subject t the fllwing additinal terms and cnditins: All Travel Awards are nn-transferable, nn-negtiable, and nt redeemable fr an alternative Travel Award r prize, except in Wizards sle discretin. A player may nly be awarded ne Travel Award per Premier Event. If a player already pssesses a Travel Award t a Premier Event, all further Travel Awards earned fr that Premier Event are frfeited. All taxes are the respnsibility f the individual receiving the Travel Award. Befre being awarded any Travel Award, the ptential recipient must, amng ther things, submit t Wizards f the Cast LLC: (i) a signed Cnsent and Release Agreement, (ii) the apprpriate IRS tax frm, (iii) prvide prf f identificatin, and (iv) any ther dcumentatin designated by Wizards. An airfare award shall cnsist f ne (1) rundtrip cach air ticket, n an airline chsen by Wizards r its designee, frm the majr airprt nearest the recipient s hme t the city in which the applicable turnament r champinship will be held, during the time f such turnament r champinship. The Travel Award winner agrees t adhere t all instructins prvided by Wizards t assist Wizards r its designee in bking such air ticket. Wizards r its designee will nly bk the air ticket t include the days f the applicable turnament r champinship. Ldging, meals, gratuities, grund transprtatin, airline baggage fees, fees caused by changes t airline reservatins, and any ther fees, csts r expenses are the winner s sle respnsibility. Travel must be taken n dates designated by Wizards r the Travel Award will be frfeited. Individuals may nt change airline ticket dates withut Wizards prir written apprval. Specific travel dates and arrangements are subject t availability. Minrs (i.e. thse under 18 years f age) wh earn a Travel Award are nt eligible t be awarded the plane ticket travel r htel awards. Instead, minrs will be awarded a Cash Equivalent Award equal t the cst f a rund trip ticket t the Premier Event in questin r the equivalent htel csts, as applicable and as determined by Wizards in its sle discretin. This award will be issued nly if the player actually attends and participates in the Premier Event in questin. Wizards will pay ut this Minr Qualifier Travel Cash Equivalent Award after the Premier Event alng with the rest f the Premier Event payuts.

6 4. NATIONALITY ELIGIBILITY Many turnaments described in this dcument have natinality restrictins that determine whether a player is eligible t participate in r receive invitatins t thse turnaments. The natinality-specific participatin r invitatin criteria are the fllwing: Ge-regin-based Planeswalker Pints invitatins t the Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship. Eligibility t participate in r receive an invitatin t a specific cuntry s Wrld Magic Cup Qualifier turnaments. Eligibility t participate in a specific cuntry s Wrld Magic Cup Qualifier Last Chance Qualifier turnaments. Eligibility t be a member f a specific cuntry s natinal team fr the Wrld Magic Cup. In rder t be eligible fr the residential-specific participatin r invitatin criteria (listed abve) during a particular year, a player must be either: a citizen f that cuntry, r a cntinuus resident f that cuntry frm January 1 f the previus year thrugh the date f the participatry turnament r award f invitatin. A player s current cuntry f natinality fr the purpse f natinality-specific participatin r invitatin criteria (listed abve) is recrded in that player s accunt n the Planeswalker Pints website. If a player wishes t change his r her cuntry f natinality eligibility, that player must fllw the instructins in Sectin 6 - Appeals. All natinality eligibility appeals must be received by March 1 f the year in which the turnament fr which the player is submitting the appeal takes place. Players may nly participate in ne cuntry s Wrld Magic Cup Qualifiers, Wrld Magic Cup Qualifier Last Chance Qualifiers, r be a member f ne cuntry s Natinal team fr the Wrld Magic Cup in a calendar year. As a crrective actin, Wizards f the Cast can change a player s natinality at any time. If a player has been awarded and invitatin (r ther status) fr a particular cuntry is later fund t be ineligible t represent that cuntry based n that player s Natinality, that player s invitatin can be rescinded and awarded t the next eligible player. Wizards f the Cast is the final determiner f a player s cuntry f natinality fr the purpse f natinality-specific participatin r invitatin criteria.

7 5. PLANESWALKER POINTS-BASED INVITATIONS AND BYES Sme Premier Events have invitatins r byes based n Planeswalker Pints. Fr cmplete details regarding Planeswalker Pints, the Planeswalker Pints categries, and t find ut which events give pints in which categries, please read the infrmatin sectin f the Planeswalker Pints website. The Seasns (defined belw) set frth in this Invitatin Plicy will be updated peridically in this dcument. There are three (2) different Planeswalker Pints categries that prvide fr Premier Event invitatins and byes: i. YEARLY AWARD POINTS Yearly Award Pints are used t invite players t and award byes at Wrld Magic Cup Qualifiers and award byes t Grand Prix. Each Yearly Award Pints Seasn is cmprised f all cmpetitive (nn-casual) events during that seasn s date range listed in the table belw (EXCLUDING Pr Tur, Wrld Magic Cup, and Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship Turnaments). During each Yearly Award Seasn, players that have accumulated the required number f Yearly Award Pints will receive an invitatin t r award byes at his r her cuntry s Wrld Magic Cup Qualifiers fr a specific year (see table belw). Each Prfessinal Pints Seasn is cmprised f Pr Tur, Grand Prix, Wrld Magic Cup, and Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship events during that seasn s date range listed in the table belw. Starting with the Prfessinal Pints Seasn, nly a player s six (6) best Grand Prix finishes will be added t his r her pint ttal. Only players wh actually cmpete in a particular turnament will receive Prfessinal Pints fr that turnament. Prfessinal pints are awarded based n the Prfessinal Pints charts in Appendix B.

APPEALS If a player believes that an errr in his r her event histry has caused an invitatin r bye t be wrngly withheld, he r she may file a frmal appeal with Wizards pursuant t the fllwing prcess: i. PLANESWALKER POINTS-BASED APPEALS Appeals fr invitatins r byes based n specific Planeswalker Pints-based invitatin criteria must be submitted and received by Wizards n later than fur (4) weeks prir t the start date f the turnament in questin. Cmplete infrmatin regarding Planeswalker Pints-based appeals can be fund in the Magic Event Appeal Plicy. Planeswalker Pints-based appeals may nly be submitted thrugh the Planeswalker Pints Event Appeals Frm. Yu must be lgged int yur Planeswalker Pints accunt in rder t access the Event Appeals Frm. ii. PRO TOUR PLAYERS CLUB LEVEL APPEALS Appeals fr invitatins r byes based n a Pr Tur Players Club achievement level must be submitted in writing and received by Wizards n later than ten (10) days prir t the start date f the turnament in questin. Pr Tur Players Club achievement level-based appeals must be submitted thrugh the Wizards Help System at with "Pr Tur Players Club Inquiry" in the subject line. iii. NATIONALITY ELIGIBILITY APPEALS Appeals t change a player s current cuntry f natinality fr the purpse f natinality-specific participatin r invitatin criteria (listed in Sectin 4 Natinality Eligibility) must be submitted in writing and received by Wizards n later than March 1 f the year in which the turnament fr which the player is submitting the appeal takes place. Players shuld indicate in detail the reasn they are requesting the change. In rder fr a natinality appeal t be cnsidered, a player must be either: a citizen f that cuntry, r a cntinuus resident f that cuntry frm January 1 f the previus year thrugh the date f the participatry turnament r award f invitatin. Example: A player with a natinality (and citizenship) f United States mves t Japan. In rder t be eligible update his r her Natinality in rder t play in the 2016 Wrld Magic Cup Qualifiers in Japan, that player must have been a cntinuus resident in Japan frm January 1, Additinally, the appeal needs t be received by March 1, 2016 in rder t be cnsidered. Natinality eligibility-based appeals must be submitted thrugh the Wizards Help System at with "Natinality Eligibility Appeal" in the subject line. If a natinality eligibility appeal is granted, the change is cnsidered permanent.

10 Decisins by Wizards f the Cast regarding any appeal are final and cannt be further appealed. By participating in sanctined turnament play, yu agree t be bund by any such decisin made by Wizards, in its sle discretin. 7. PLAYER OF THE YEAR AND ROOKIE OF THE YEAR The player with the mst Prfessinal Pints ver the curse f a Prfessinal Pints Seasn is identified as the Player f the Year. In the event that tw players tie, the Player f the Year will be determined by a single-match playff. The player with the mst Prfessinal Pints at the end f a Prfessinal Pints Seasn that has nt participated in a Pr Tur, Wrld Magic Cup, r Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship event in any previus Prfessinal Pints Seasn is identified as the Rkie f the Year. In the event that tw players tie, the Rkie f the Year will be determined by a single-match playff.

11 8. MAGIC: THE GATHERING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. The Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship is an invitatin-nly turnament. T be eligible t receive an invitatin t participate in the Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship, yu must meet the fllwing criteria: INVITATION CRITERIA The 2016 Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship invitatin list cnsists f the fllwing players: The winners f the fur (4) Pr Tur events in the Prfessinal Pints Seasn. The 2015 Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship winner. The 2015 Magic Online Champin. The Player f the Year. The player with the greatest number f Prfessinal Pints in the Prfessinal Pints Standing (minus the number f Prfessinal Pints earned at the 2015 Magic: The Gathering Wrld Champinship) at the cnclusin f the secnd Pr Tur f the Prfessinal Pints Seasn. If tw r mre players have the same Prfessinal Pints ttal, the tie will be brken as fllws: The tied player with the greatest number f Pr Tur* Tp 8 finishes immediately fllwing secnd Pr Tur event f the Prfessinal Pints Seasn, r The tied player with the greatest number f Grand Prix Tp 8 finishes (Tp 4 finishes frm Team-frmat Grand Prix) immediately fllwing secnd Pr Tur event f the Prfessinal Pints Seasn, r The tied player with the greatest number f match pints in his r her best Pr Tur* finish immediately fllwing secnd Pr Tur event f the Prfessinal Pints Seasn, r The tied player with the greatest number f match pints in his r her best individual-frmat Grand Prix finish immediately fllwing secnd Pr Tur event f the Prfessinal Pints Seasn.
