It will be gverned by The Racing Rules f Sailing , this Ntice f Race, the Sailing Instructins, and by apprpriate class rules, except as any f the abve are altered by the Sailing Instructins. 2. ELIGIBILITY: This is an pen regatta. Three r mre ne design r level class bats may race as a class. All thers will race under the applicable handicap system, i.e., Prtsmuth fr bardbats, centerbards, and catamarans, and PHRF fr keelbats and trimarans. PHRF numbers fr keelbats will be thse published by the PHRF f the Alam currently being used fr racing n Canyn Lake. The PHRF list is psted in the registratin infrmatin sectin at WurstfestRegatta.cm. Trimarans shall be sanctined by the Texas Offshre Multihull Assciatin, TOMA, and will be required t btain a 2018 TOMA PHRF certificate at least 7 days prir t the event by cntacting TOMA Handicapper Mike Ztzky at r by at michaelztzky@gmail.cm. Bats nt cvered by these handicap lists will be assigned a number by the Wurstfest Regatta Chairman. There will be n exceptins t the abve assignment f handicaps. Fr the J/24 fleet, please see the attached: Addendum t NOR J 24 Class Only. 3. CLASSES: Three r mre ne design r level class bats may race as a class. Anticipated classes fr the Bardbat and Centerbard weekend are Sunfish, Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, RS Aer 7, RS Aer 9, Flying Sct, Prtsmuth Dinghy, Daysailer, and Optimist. Anticipated classes fr the Keelbat, Trimaran and Catamaran weekend are J/22, J/24, J/70, Melges 24, PHRF Spinnaker, Catalina 22, PHRF Nn-Spinnaker (A and B Fleets), PHRF Nn-Spinnaker Big Bats, PHRF Trimaran, Crsair Sprint 750, Crsair Pulse 600, Prtsmuth Catamaran (A and B Fleets), F18, Hbie 18, Hbie 17, Viper 640, VX One and S9. The LCYC Wurstfest Regatta is an fficial stp n the Flying Sct Circuit, Texas Sunfish Circuit and SW Reginal Sunfish Wrld Qualifier, Laser District 15 Circuit Stp and Champinship Regatta, Texas Centerbard Circuit, TOMA Champinship (Extreme Freshwater Editin), Catalina 22 Regin 8 Champinship, and J/24 Circuit Stp.

FEES: Registratin includes entry fr skipper and crew (as applicable), dinner Friday evening, breakfast Saturday mrning, after race beverages, ONE Saturday dinner ticket, live music Saturday night, breakfast Sunday mrning and after race beverages. A limited number f Saturday Subway lunch tickets will be available befre the skippers meeting fr $6.00. Additinal Saturday Dinner tickets are available fr $10. Sunday lunch tickets are available fr $6. Tickets may be purchased during n-line registratin r at the registratin desk at the regatta. Please help us plan apprpriately by purchasing meal tickets nline prir t arrival at the regatta. 5. FEE SCHEDULE: $65.00 fr single handed bats $80.00 fr duble-handed bats $90.00 fr bats with skipper and mre than 1 crew member $30.00 fr junirs $10.00 late fee will be charged t any payment received after Octber 28, $10.00 Additinal Saturday dinner tickets $6.00 Saturday lunch tickets Subway sandwich, chips & ckie $6.00 Sunday lunch tickets lunch served at LCYC clubhuse 6. PAYMENT: Payment will be accepted by credit card, r PayPal during nline registratin. LCYC and HCYC participants may apply payment t their club accunts. Only cash r checks can be accepted during nsite registratin. 7. SCORING: The Lw Pint System nted in RRS Appendix A will apply. Five races are scheduled. One race cmpleted shall cnstitute a regatta. RRS rule A2 is amended; n thrw-uts will be allwed unless mre than five races are cmpleted as nted in the next sentence. Additinal races may be run at the discretin f the race cmmittee; if mre than five races are cmpleted, ne thrw-ut will be allwed. Fr the J/24 Class, please see the Addendum fr scring infrmatin. 8. TROPHIES: (fleet entries/trphies) 3/1, 4-5/2, 6-7/3, 8-10/4, 11+/5 9. 3 11. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Sailing Instructins will be included in the registratin pack, and will als be available at the registratin desk. 12. VENUE: Racing will ccur n Canyn Lake n multiple curses in the vicinity f Lake Canyn Yacht Club. The lcatin f curses and assignments f fleets will be psted n the Official Ntice Bard f the LCYC Club Huse prir t the skipper s meeting. 13. THE COURSES: The curses t be sailed will be described in the Sailing Instructins. 14. BOAT STORAGE: During the regatta, bats may be stred n r tied t the dcks at the discretin f the LCYC Prperty Manager, r in designated trailer strage areas. Thse arriving early r leaving late may stre their bats n club grunds by making arrangements with the Prperty Manager, r at the Registratin Desk. 15. LAUNCHING: Catamarans may launch frm Jacbs Creek Park. Details will be available at registratin. All ther bats may launch frm LCYC. 16. TRAFFIC CONTROL: Parking is nt permitted n the shulders f the rad frm trailer strage areas t clubhuse. The launch ramp at LCYC is a steep 19 degree grade. Safety is a paramunt cncern. Please read the Launch Safety prcedures psted at WurstfestRegatta.cm. A designated rigging/parking areas map will be given ut upn arrival and is als psted at WurstfestRegatta.cm. SAFETY CHAINS ARE REQUIRED TO BE IN USE WHENEVER A VEHICLE TOWING A TRAILER IS IN MOTION ANYWHERE ON LCYC PROPERTY. 17. HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS: Keelbats shall nt be hauled ut during the regatta except with and accrding t the terms f prir written permissin f the principal race fficer. 18. RADIO COMMUNICATION: Except in an emergency, a bat shall neither make radi transmissins while racing nr receive radi cmmunicatins nt available t all bats. This restrictin als applies t mbile telephnes. 19. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Cmpetitrs participate in the regatta entirely at their wn risk. See rule 4, Decisin t Race. The rganizing authrity will nt accept any liability fr material damage r persnal injury r death sustained in cnjunctin with r prir t, during, r after the regatta. 20. INSURANCE: Each participating Skipper/bat must be insured with valid third-party liability insurance. 21. PHOTOGRAPHY and VIDEO RIGHTS: All marks, pictures, audi and vide recrdings, graphic lgs and service names cntained herein r prduced during the Regatta by r n behalf f the LCYC are the prperties f LCYC. N rights are granted t use pictures, graphic lgs and service names withut permissin. Cmpetitrs give abslute right and permissin fr vide ftage r phtgraphs f themselves r their bat t be published in any media fr press, editrial r advertising purpses. 22. ACCOMMODATIONS: Camping is permitted n the club grunds except where taped ff near the lighthuse. Shwers and tilets are available at the clubhuse. Open campfires are NOT permitted. There are numerus htels in New Braunfels; additinal infrmatin is available in the lcal links at WurstfestRegatta.cm. Reserve early, as the Wurstfest Festival is a majr turism event in the Texas Hill Cuntry.

Lkut Rad. G 0.3 miles, turn right int LCYC grunds. 24. PETS: Fr the safety and cnsideratin f ther sailrs, LCYC requests that all participants hnr ur NO pet plicy at the regatta. 25. WURSTFEST FESTIVAL: The LCYC Wurstfest Regatta is in alignment with the Wurstfest Festival in New Braunfels. Cmplimentary festival passes will be available at registratin. LCYC des NOT prvide transprtatin t the Wurstfest Festival.

5 ADDENDUM TO NOTICE OF RACE J/24 CLASS ONLY The Ntice f Race fr the J/24 Class Only shall be amended as fllws. Where there is cnflict between the Ntice f Race and this addendum, this addendum shall gvern. This is the 7 th Circuit Stp f the 2018 J/24 Texas Circuit. The regatta is als gverned by the Ntice f Circuit fr the 2018 J/24 Texas Circuit and the current Internatinal J/24 Class Rules (IJCA). The regatta is pen t all J/24 bats as defined by the IJCA and whse entries are accepted by the rganizer. Helmspersns must be full members f a NJCA r the IJCA. Cmpetitrs must meet all wnership and class membership requirements, cmplete all requirements set frth in the Ntice f Circuit and pay all required registratin fees t becme fficial participants. The Ntice f Circuit is lcated at J/24 Texas Circuit s Facebk Page. If there are c-drivers, then ne f them shall be designated as the primary driver fr Wrlds qualificatin purpses. Races will be sailed n windward/leeward curses r variatins theref. Offset weather marks and leeward gates may be used. The regatta will cnsist f as many as six (6) races ver tw (2) cnsecutive days. Three (3) races must be cmpleted t cunt twards the verall 2018 J/24 Texas Circuit series scres. N race scres will be excluded frm a bat s regatta scre. This mdifies RRS A2. The scring penalty as prvided by RRS 44.3 and as mdified by the sailing instructins will apply. All bats are subject t inspectin and measurement at any time during the regatta. Nt mre than ne mainsail, ne jib and ne gena shall be carried abard. Class Rule C.10.2 is changed t allw bats t carry abard tw (2) spinnakers, subject t the fllwing: The Sail/Ryalty Tag Ns. fr all sails used during each regatta must be declared in permanent writing n the Inventry f Required & Optinal Equipment. Spinnakers may be used interchangeably during a regatta; hwever, in the event ne f the declared spinnakers is lst r damaged beynd repair during a regatta, a replacement spinnaker is nt allwed and the bat must sail nly with the remaining declared spinnaker. A cmpetitr r technical cmmittee (which includes the Texas Circuit Representative and/r District 14 Gvernr) may submit a prtest fr vilatin f Class Rules C.10.2(a) r (b), as amended. If a vilatin is fund t have ccurred, the race cmmittee shall impse a scring penalty f 40% as calculated by RRS 44.3(c), applied t the race(s) in which such vilatin ccurred, withut a hearing. Pursuant t Class Rule A.9.1, the mainsail, 150% gena and spinnaker must all have the same sail numbers as their J/24 bat hull number. Any bat whse sails d nt match their hull number may race in the regatta with the prir apprval f the District 14 Gvernr r designated Texas Circuit Representative, and race fficials. In accrdance with Class Rule A.11.1, all bats must have a current, valid Measurement Certificate. Any bat withut a Measurement Certificate shuld cntact a class measurer r the District 14 Gvernr t arrange fr bat measurement in rder t btain a Measurement Certificate. Any bat withut a Measurement Certificate may race in the regatta with the prir apprval f the District 14 Gvernr. This changes Class Rule A N frmal prvisins fr bat measurement will be available at the regatta. All bats must carry abard while racing the bat s current Measurement Certificate (unless waived) and cmpleted Inventry f Required and Optinal Equipment per Class Rule B.3. The Inventry f Required and Optinal Equipment is the sle respnsibility f each wner r helmspersn and des nt require a class measurer t cmplete. All cmpetitrs will be subject t crew requirements pursuant t Class Rule C.2.1. Scales will be prvided at registratin fr weighing all crew members.
