The cost to Mnhttn ech ws $86,640 per yer for totl of $173,280 for FY through FY The gols of the Line were to continue providing mobility nd mitigting vehiculr congestion in the South y requiring subsidy from ny of the bech cities from 2008 on. Cities. CT expected tht Line 109 would qulify for funding from MTA in two yers, no longer ACKGROUND: greement with ech Cities Trnsit (CT) in the mount of $32,985. Council directed stff to fund the greement by exchnging Generl Fund dollrs for Proposition A funds t discounted Fund dollrs. On July 6, 2010, the City Council pproved the Fiscl Yer (FY) cost shring rte. ecuse the Proposition A funds were exchnged t discounted rte of seventy cents on the dollr, funding for this yer s cost shring greement ws equivlent to $23,090 in Generl FISCAL IMPLICATION: Trnsit (CT) Line 109 services. This expnsion eliminted the service on Vist Del Mr in El Segundo, nd chnges, which dded pproximtely eight more service hours per dy to the route. These route chnges resulted in incresed route milege (18.6 northbound nd 16.3 miles southbound) nd service hours, which ws pid for by Redondo ech without chnges to the cost shring greement. In July 2009, CT expnded the Line 109 service re, dding discontinued portions of Metro s Pge 2 Proposls. sed on the recommendtions from the review committee, Redondo ech City Council is scheduled to pprove the recommendtion of the consultnt t their this yer will include utomtic systems tht nnounce the street loction nme of the bus the Line which will include exmining the possibility of dding Mnhttn Villge s prticipting cities discussed nd reviewed the CT Fixed Route COA Request for December 7, 2010 meeting.
