Tonight marks the 24th meeting of the season between San Jose and Visalia (Giants lead season series 12-11). San Jose s only series victory of the second half came against the Rawhide: July at Municipal Stadium (won three of four games). Domenic Mazza (3-1, 3.49 ERA) is slated to make the start on the mound for the Giants this evening. Lost 10 Of 13 The Giants enter tonight s contest with a 3-10 record in their last 13 games. San Jose went 2-4 during their most recent homestand (1-2 vs. Rancho Cucamonga, 1-2 vs. Inland Empire).
