The Giants dropped two out of three games in Rancho Cucamonga to begin the trip. The Quakes posted victories of 15-6 on Wednesday and 7-6 on Thursday to open the series before San Jose avoided the sweep with a 4-2 win yesterday. Joey Marciano (0-1, ERA) is slated to make the start on the mound for the Giants tonight. Game #100 This evening marks San Jose s 100th game of the season. The Giants are overall. San Jose is looking to avoid a sub-.500 season for the third consecutive year. The San Jose Giants have never had three straight losing seasons in their team history ( ). The Giants were a league-worst last year following a record in 2016 (did reach playoffs as a Wild Card team).
