Yuth Baked Gds Department Rules: 1. State Fair General Rules apply t this department. By entering, yu agree t read and abide by all State Fair General Rules and the rules f this department. 2. Use the General Cmpetitin entry frm r use n-line registratin. N late additins r alteratins f entries are permitted. Mailed frms pstmarked after September 7 will nt be accepted. 3. Individuals entering the Yuth Arts and Crafts Department must be between the ages f 5 and 18. Articles entered must be the wrk f the yuth cmpetitr and must have been cmpleted within the last year. N passes will be issued t individuals cmpeting in this department. 4. Only ne individual may enter per entry frm. Teachers and schls may enter items made by a grup f students in the classes which specify grup prjects. The age f the ldest child participating will determine which age grup t enter. 5. List article n entry frm accrding t DIVISION and CLASS. Yu may make nly ne entry per class with n mre than 15 items entered all tgether in the Baked Gds department. As a cmpetitr, yu are slely respnsible fr deciding n the prper DIVISION and CLASS fr yur entry. Entries imprperly classified will nt be changed r judged. We reserve the right t accept r refuse an exhibit. 6. N article will be accepted unless there is a DIVISION and CLASS cvering it as listed in the Cmpetitin Guide. Articles entered in the "Miscellaneus" r "Other" classes must nt fit in any class listed elsewhere in the Guide. Articles entered in "Miscellaneus" r "Other" classes must be named and described n entry frm. 7. Upn receiving and prcessing yur entry frm, the State Fair will print entry identificatin tags which will be made available t yu t attach when yur entries are brught t the Fair. Altered tags will nt be accepted, but yu may add requested infrmatin t the back f the tag. If the item is riginal r unusual, please include that infrmatin n the BACK f the tag. Where there is nly ne item entered in a class, a blue ribbn, if merited, will be awarded. Where articles are nt wrthy f first prize, judges may, at their discretin, award a ribbn f such grade as the article deserves. 10. Entrant must prepare any type f recipe that cntains berries and eggs. A minimum f 4 large eggs must be used in the entered recipe. Entry shuld be presented n a cntainer fr judging that can be left fr display shuld the item win. Recipe must list ingredients in rder f use; preparatin instructins; pan size (and type); number f servings; cking time; and temperatures. Recipes must be n ne side f page and must be submitted with prepared entry. Back side f page must include cntestant s name, address, phne and address and the name f the item. Typewritten will lk the mst prfessinal, but is nt essential. Ntes: Yur fair accepts any liability if entries are served t the public. Fairs are in charge f safe fd handling prcedures (accept items that shuld be kept cld frm clers, and judge ht items prmptly r keep cld and reheat samples t apprpriate tasting temperature).
