3 1.3 Review methdlgy The review was cnducted by a team f three reviewers. 4 2. Executive summary 2.1 Key findings The schl is characterised by a learning culture where inclusivity and an active recgnitin f difference are strngly valued. Staff, students and families speak highly f the way in which the schl values and strives t meet the learning and wellbeing needs f a brad range f students. Specific strategies and resurces are targeted twards students requiring additinal supprt. The schl has identified imprved behaviur as a key element t prgressing student achievement. The schl utilises PB4L t ensure that all students are engaged and cnnected t prductive learning. An active PB4L team manage and mnitr the effectiveness f the prgram acrss the schl. The manner in which parents are engaged as partners t supprt student behaviur is nt evident. Classrm prgrams are underpinned by a well-develped curriculum plan which supprts the delivery f learning acrss the schl. Year-level teams meet regularly with the schl HOC t plan implementatin and evaluatin f classrm curriculum and pedaggical practice. Teachers use these meetings t analyse and reflect n student data t infrm their teaching and student learning. The schl has an imprvement agenda. The extent t which the agenda drives imprvement is inhibited by a lack f alignment and clarity with leadership practice. There are a number f schl pririties. Additinal clarity fr the schl with specific strategies, targets and milestnes is required. The lack f narrw fcus is inhibiting the alignment f leadership endeavur and the wrk f teachers. The schl leadership team identify the imprtance f all members f the team regularly engaging as instructinal leaders acrss the schl. A number f key leadership staff are directing their fcus t brad areas f student supprt and management. Schl leaders identify a need fr all members f the leadership team t enact instructinal leadership t develp imprved teaching and learning. The cmmitment and dedicatin f staff is a strng feature f the schl culture. The schl staff are very strngly cmmitted t the schl and t student wellbeing issues. Many teachers articulate an active and persnal cmmitment t the schl and its students. 4

5 3. Fllw-up timelines Schl t publish the executive summary n their website within tw weeks. Schl t meet with Assistant Reginal Directr t discuss review findings and imprvement strategies. Actin plan t be develped and submitted t SIU and regin within six weeks f the cmpletin f the review. 5
