RRA Kevin Churchill 11 separate referee classes added t the website fr the upcming Fall 16 seasn. 5 Classes have been cmpleted t date. 98 referees attended the returning referee BBQ. It was very successful and 1st time PV allwed us t bring a BBQ t the field ($100 depsit). Fields were left perfect. Laws f the Game Law Changes Webinar classes listed n the reginal website Referee Staff Member will attend all Cach & Team Manager F16 Orientatin Meetings. New Heading Rule is in effect fr Divisin U12 and under. Rule was brught dwn by USA Sccer and will be taken seriusly. XTRA Teams playing up will be under same rule. CVPA Jeannette Rssling Currently we have 540 Registered Vlunteers in MY2016. We have 161 new and returning vlunteers that are in the applicatin stage. As f Mnday 8/15 at 10:45am we have a ttal f 701 Vlunteers. Last year we had ver 970 vlunteer applicants. Many vlunteers need t update their Safe Haven training. SAF HAVN MUST have been taken in June 2015 r later. Cncussin Awareness is recmmended t be taken in June 2015 r later. Natinal are the nes wh decided that training dates. Online training helps them track vlunteers. Cmpleted activities: Three Team Manager Orientatins, registering 480+ vlunteers, dealing with several issued with "red flagged" vlunteers. Onging activities: Finalizing vlunteers and getting their psitins "turned n" Upcming activities: Final Team Manager Orientatin n August 22nd Need all new vlunteer applicatins ASAP! Cncussin Training is required every 2 years as per Sectin 10. Will be checked in Area and Reginal Playffs. Get inf t Caches and DC's fllw-up. Make sure all Law nfrcement and First Respnders nte that n applicatin because they are prtected frm 3rd party backgrund checks (which includes us) and it slws the applicatin prcess dwn by weeks.

Average player being a 5 which is where mst players fall. Upcming activities: Cmplete player Rsters Fllw up with Vlunteer Registratin, trainings and Safe Haven Ratings Old Business: Biggest Challenge this seasn was getting cmpetitive cach vlunteers Caused a delay in frming teams. Implementatin f nt giving Caches their team until registratin cmplete wrked great but slwed things dwn. Need t change dates next year t adjust fr this. DOP's simplified rating sheet and instructins fr Caches. Nw has 1-10 scale. Gal is that easier prcess will deliver mre accuracy in frming balanced teams.
