Registrar's Reprt (Stephanie Haskins): Our current numbers are: Travel Registrar s Reprt(Jhn Lewandwski): Binders being delivered t MEAHA Registrar tmrrw and returned n March 14 th t me at the Clisee. Backgrund screening was mre than a snafu this year. Appreciate that caches were able t prvide registratin and screening results infrmatin. Master Ice schedulers reprt (Chris Kennedy): Heavy fcus n end f seasn ice needs t include practices, games, turnaments, and Travel evals fr next seasn.!2

CBHA Tier 4 Mites & Squirts turney ice secured. Due t extremely lw team registratin, wrking with Turnament Directr (Amanda) t giveback TBD hurs t the rinks. Negtiating weather related cancellatins with rink managers. FIC maintenance shutdwn scheduled mid/late August thrugh mid-octber. Jsh is tentatively targeting Aug22 - Oct 12 fr the FIC maintenance shutdwn which will impact early seasn CBHA ice fr Bys & Girls Travel, Huse & Travel Midgets, and Huse evals. The rink s/b back nline in time fr the fficial start t ur Initiatin and Huse prgrams. Huse schedulers reprt (Sally-Ann Mrris): Dealing with cancellatins and reschedules. Finalizing ice fr the huse seasns and turnaments Travel Scheduler s Reprt (Glenn Jnssn): Have been wrking n lts r reschedules/new games ver the past mnth. With less teams ding Valley League r Seacast league there has been numerus requests t schedule additinal games with nn-meaha teams t supplement their game cunts. Additinally, the tw VL teams have had an increase in requests fr in-seasn scheduling. With ur tw VL teams nt having MeAHA team tags, they cannt use NGIN which creates a very cumbersme scheduling prcess that can easily create issues if things are nt checked/re-checked. Inseasn scheduling is much mre time cnsuming than during preseasn MeAHA Schedulefest scheduling. Additinally, nn-meaha ppnents d nt integrate well with NGIN which has required much mre manual scheduling in regards t ensuring bth teams have game inf and are reminded f upcming games as these d nt always shw up n NGIN. With the ptential fr additinal prgramming being added fr next year I feel the rle f the schedulers and the prcess f scheduling/rescheduling needs t be addressed. This year has felt a lt less autmated than in past years and has required a lt mre wrk t keep all teams satisfied and n track as result. If there are additinal prgrams added next year the rle will need t increase. Caching Reprt(Rich Tibbetts): Galie clinics seemed t be well received, Dave Wilsn wuld like t d mre and is available! Glitch in the backgrund check reprting, has led t sme issues. Thank yu Jhn Lewandwski fr sifting thrugh the mess! Wrking n CBHA Caching checklist fr next seasn shuld help caches (new and ld!) with requirements and help us internally keep track f caching data. Organizing year end caches meeting mid April date. Team administratr reprt(rachel Pargeter): Team Binders fr all travel teams have been cllected t be delivered t Sue Hamlin, MeAHA registrar at tmrrw's MeAHA meeting, new fr this seasn that binders are being certified in February. Tw binders still have issues after lts f back-and-frth with TA's: SQ A is missing all caches' paperwrk, and U16A is!3

TA's are trying t get the paperwrk in befre the meeting Tuesday night Infrmatin abut state turnaments is being distributed t TA's as it cmes in-i am fielding lts f questins abut the end-f-seasn turnaments at all levels. Cntacting lcal DD franchises t set up displays t have manager/stres sell mugs Wrk n lcker rm supervisin plicy is nging-i will have a draft fr bard review at the next bard meeting in March. Wrk n Ngin user's manual is nging. I plan t finish it after the seasn ends and pst it nline. Turnament reprt (Amanda Wdfrd): Wrking n final turnament weekend March 6-8th fr mites and Squirts. Currently ne mite team registered and paid (needed 8) and ne Squirt registered but nt paid. (Ice bked fr 6 "utside"teams) Discussins t determine hw best t handle lw numbers and release f ice ASAP with apprpriate bard members invlved needs t happen hpefully tnight. Next year March turnaments will be "ut" unless they are a CB nly "event". March is n lnger the best ptin fr turnaments fr current in state assciatins. Other state assciatins are always interested but d nt present enugh entries t make it wrk at this pint. Hliday ptin will be a test, but wrth trying. Equipment/Referee Reprt (Tm Cliffrd): Nthing t reprt. Webmaster Reprt (Christpher Prinn): Latest Schedules frm the Master are current n MeAHA and CBHA sites. The Master Schedule des nt have times fr Mite EP assigned, s nthing fr Mite EP is getting added t the CB site Travel Team Registratin is being created by NGIN (since it requires $ transactins) and shuld be ready/enabled by the end f the week. s will be sent as a reminder nce the registratin is pen. Initial Travel Tryut inf has been added t the site. Girls' Travel dates/times are included. Bys' Travel times will be added nce finalized. Web cntent updates are happening as I receive requests. Need anything up? Let me knw. Dunkin Dnuts Sprtspersn f the Mnth winners have been added t the site. Is there a new winner t be added fr March? I haven t sent ut any mass s in a while. Please let me knw if there is infrmatin t be ed. Bys travel Reprt (Fran Nrris): Bys Travel try uts are set- with SQ and PW try uts during the week f Mar 10 and BT try uts during week f Mar 17. I expect high registratin numbers again this year. We have decided t increase the depsit needed t secure the psitin fr each player after selectins have been made. The fee this year will be $500. The increased depsit shuld limit the mvement within rganizatins after players accept a CBHA rster spt. I expect that we will have 2 SQ, 3 PW, and 3 BT teams next seasn (all will be determined based upn try ut depths and numbers). We may have a BT high schl aged team. The decisin will be dependent upn hw many HS players try!4

Histrically, separating the HS players nt their wn team has been the best slutin t the HS hckey cnflicts as we can frnt lad their schedule and reduce practices nce HS hckey seasn begins. I have reached ut t Paul Gilmartin (president f VHL) t see if he wuld cnsider a later start date fr CBHA teams. As I feel a VHL/MeAHA schedule wuld prvide a full travel experience. I am in the initial stages f drafting a plan fr mre frmal skills cmpnent t ur travel prgram. The new rink will prvide additinal ice and pprtunity fr huse and travel skills sessin. Girls hckey reprt (Sctt Matusvich): The seasn is winding dwn fr all the girls teams. All are ding very well and shuld be a fun pst seasn. U12 is ranked in the tp 15 natinally fr U12 Tier II U14 is ranked in the tp 30 Natinally fr U14 Tier II. U14 T4 has had sme schedule issues but Sally and I are wrking thrugh that t get them the ice they need. Fr Evaluatins dates and times are psted. Team descriptins t fllw sn. I wuld like t ffer: U12 B same set up as this year. U12 A same set up as this year U14 A Same basic plan but lking t schedule mre f a Tier I schedule. Actively seeking 2002s girls frm ther prgrams arund that have n U14 team t play fr. We have a lt f 2001s that culd still be U14 but will als be in HS s my guess is they will want a split seasn U16 r U19 team. U16 T2 same set up U19 T2 same set up U19 B games and 10 practices all in the fall seasn. I think we will see large influx f girls frm PJP, Gladiatrs and Breakers. All f the ther prgrams are shrinking like crazy. Additinally I have received s frm 3 families f u12 age girls that are mving t the area and are currently playing high level hckey and 2 are galies which is great. Lastly I have been talking with Kevin Duffy the U12 B cach and lking at trying t find sme ice fr a few skates fr ur U10 age girls t intrduce them t girls hckey and maybe get them thinking alng thse lines. Mre n this t cme. Learn t Play (Matt Gdrich): Kristin Andrews helped with an initiatin practice. Nthing else t reprt, things ging well. Mites Reprt (Sctt Russeau): Things ging well. Mites shuld cnsider ending earlier next seasn s that EP is n par with ther rganizatins in the state. Squirts Reprt (Kristin Reynlds): We had a galie clinic with 9 Squirt galies and Dave Wilsn in January. Dave has als been cming t the Squirts Tuesday night skill sessins since the beginning f!5

6 Casc Bay Hckey Assciatin Bard f Directrs Meeting Minutes January and wrking with the galies and it's been invaluable. We need t prvide mre f this fr ur galies all seasn lng. After many stps and starts regarding the standings, the Squirt State Turnament Play-In began this past weekend. A very big thank yu t Sally Anne wh wrked with the Huskies and Biddefrd scheduler t secure ver 20 hurs f ice fr the 10 teams ver 2 weekends. Our teams are ding a bit f traveling t UNE, USM and BIA, but despite the travels the teams are ding well. I attended all 5 games at NYA this weekend and saw excellent hckey and great sprtsmanship frm all teams. In anticipatin f at least 1 CB team attending States (Feb ) I have secured rms at a htel in Bangr and the Huskies have dne the same, all t be used by whichever CB/HYH/BYHA that attends the turnament, given that ur play-in runs thrugh February 15th. The teams have begun attending turnaments and will thrughut mid-march. The Cytes had a great experience at the Biddefrd King f the Rink turnament. I had excellent feedback frm the cach abut the way the turnament was run, as well as the referees. One team is headed t the Lins next weekend, and tw t Midcast later this mnth. I have tw final teams traveling t NH and VT fr turnaments in March. I have seen incredible prgress frm all teams this year, frm skaters wh were cnsidering nt playing hckey at all t 2nd year Squirts wh have really gained a lt f skill frm ur practices and skill sessins. Peewee/bantam reprt (Matt Cliffrd): Last galie clinic went very well with 7 galies attending. All the galies gt sme very gd instructin & advice t wrk n their skills. Peewee play-ins start next week. Bantam play-ins the last weekend f Feb. I will be arund fr the peewee play-in. We had a few n ice incidents with a peewee team where a Biddefrd parent cmplained f inapprpriate behavir n the ice with ne f ur Casc Bay players. The player in questin has been disciplined and suspended fr 2 games. If this happens again with this player he is dne fr the seasn. The head cach f the team handled the entire situatin extremely well. I had t fllw up with Bidd Yuth Hckey Assc. n this particular incident. Cincidentally, we had a Bidd team say racial slurs t ne f ur Casc Bay Bantam players & I in turn had t fllw up with Bidd Yuth Again yet again. The Bidd team in questin has been spken t & the individual player suspended fr a game and a letter f aplgy will be written. These incidents came abut as a result f trash talking n the ice & I need t remind all peewee & bantam caches t infrm their teams that the Cde f Cnduct must be adhered t. If it is nt adhered t players, parents, caches, etc.. will be held accuntable. A few teams are playing in turnaments ver the next few weeks. We wuld like t have at least ne f hur f ice fr a checking clinic fr all peewee's befre the seasn ends and travel tryuts start. Midget Huse/Travel Reprt (Andrew May): Currently securing ice in March fr Midget Travel tryuts. Tentatively lking at week f March 16. The numbers are such that we will again plan fr 2 u16 teams and 1 u18 team. Cach Metcalf and cach Stairs have indicated their interest n returning t cach. New Business!6
