Annuncements OMGHA Bard f Directrs representatives attended the Osse Schl Bard meeting n August 28, 2018, t finalize the 10-year agreement regarding the Osse Arena. Delays in the renvatin f the Osse Arena have pushed back the timeline fr cmpletin, which means OMGHA will have t rearrange ice schedules; ice assigned t Osse Arena prir t Octber 2018 will need t be rescheduled. The Osse Arena will upgrade its cling system in the next year, which is psitive fr bth the Osse Schl District and OMGHA. Between the summer f 2018 and the summer f 2019, apprximately $4.5 millin f upgrades will have been made t the Osse Arena. OMGHA will inquire abut ptential delays t the pening date next year when the chillers in bth rinks will be upgraded. The Bard f Directrs has added tw new vlunteer psitins: Player Safety and Health psitin will be filled by Desta Sillerud, and the Maintenance/Handyman psitin will be filled by Erik Uhland. There was discussin regarding 35-game limit, which reflects a change plicy frm cunting game days t cunting the ttal number f games played. b. New Business During the August Bard f Directrs meeting, the Finance Cmmittee shared that the wner f the 3O3 Rink apprached OMGHA Bard f Directrs and asked that the bard cnsider purchasing the facility. Chuck Sawicky presented an verview f three financial mdels and their ptential impact n OMGHA s financial psitin. OMGHA currently purchases 575 hurs f ice time frm 3O3 during each seasn, and the scenaris utlined included assumptins f selling varying amunts f the remaining 1925 ice team hurs per year. Adam Reiter prvided an verview f financing discussins with the City f Osse. OMGHA may be eligible t finance the purchase using the City s bnding prgram, thereby decreasing a percentage f the financing rate. OMGHA has cnsulted a cmmercial real estate cnsultant t determine the facility s value and has examined the residual value f facility ver time.
