The ribbn cutting will take place n Octber 23 rd with an pen skate fr all bard members t fllw. Meeting with the HS tenants has ccurred. Directrs please make sure yu pull nly active registrants when yu run yur reprts fr the draft. Wrking with Paul and families n schlarships A lt f time spent this mnth getting families t register and pay their first installment s they can be rstered. Need t brainstrm a better way t get travel kids registered fr next year. Registrar (Stephanie Haskins) T date 21 teams are in the prcess f being rstered Apprved 3 Submitted, awaiting apprval 8 Unsubmitted (awaiting safesprt cert, and a few player registratins) Gearing up fr Huse rsters: Divisin Directrs: 1. Please hld yur drafts ASAP and get team breakdwns t me. Safesprt is hlding up the rster prcess, and the sner we are n it the better. 2. All caches must get safesprt and register n the CB website. Fcus n this FIRST!!! These tw steps must happen quickly, r we wn't be able t apprve rsters and games wn't cunt. Safe Sprt Clarificatin #426: (Please dn't sht the messenger.) Referee Equipment Directr (Tm Cliffrd) Turnaments (Amanda Wdfrd) Team Administratr (Bethany Wilsn) Girls Team Administratr (Rachel Pargeter) All girls teams except ne have TA's identified and materials are in the prcess f being delivered/distributed. All TA's with teams playing games nw have gtten admin rights n MeAHA's site t scre games, and this seems t be ging smthly. All upcming games/practices are n the websites fr the girls teams, with the exceptin f U14B and U12B. MeAHA put the Tier IV pages up fr these tw teams ver the weekend, but schedules dn't seem t be upladed yet- this is a wrk in prgress, but will hpefully be cmplete befre these teams start skating after Clumbus Day. A CB- nly webpage was created and the schedule was inputted fr U19B due t the delay in getting a MeAHA page set up, s parents/families had access t an nline calendar and ical feed fr their events. After the schedule is upladed t the MeAHA page we will switch t that page and I will update with all away games and then replace the CB- nly page with the MeAHA fficial team page. I am learning hw/what t Tm Cliffrd t make sure referees are available fr the upcming weekend's games. Marketing Update (Rich Lappin) Dunkin Dnut Mug fundraiser: Gal: Sell 3,000 mugs. At $20 per mug, we will raise up t $60K fr Casc Bay. Gal is fr each player t sell 5 mugs. We will be ding a significant push t sell the mugs frm 10/15/15-12/1/15. Prizes still being pulled tgether. Prizes will be ffered t the tp individual sellers in huse/travel and Casc Bay Academy. Tp tw

If anyne has prizes that can be dnated (Red sx, Bruins, Pirates tickets, etc.) please let Rich Lappin knw. Heavy fcus n pre- selling mugs in advance f them being delivered. Mugs will be available smetime between 12/1 and 12/15. Will be wrking with TAs t help crdinate the mug sales and cllectin f rder frms and mney. Mugs can als be purchased nline this year via ur website. Marketing materials and rder frms will be available sn. Arena signage: We currently have mst f ur dasher bards and the penalty bxes available fr spnsrship. Infrmatin f fees is available n the Casc Bay Arena website. We will be reaching ut t existing Spnsrs t check their interest in dasher bard spnsrship in lieu f team spnsrship. With the arena, we will be mving away frm team spnsrship. If yu knw f cmpanies that may be interested spnsring, cntact Rich Lappin. Webmaster (Chris Prinn) Caching: MeAHA has finally created/added the T4 GIRLS Teams and NGIN cdes s that schedules can be added t ur site. I will be re- uplading the latest schedule this evening, nw that the remaining girls teams are included. Evaulatins inf has been up, reminder s have been sent as requested. MeAHA is lking fr the rest f CBHA Tier 4 Huse teams s that they can create the team pages. Please prvide me with TA infrmatin s that I can grant them permissins/access t their team. Registratins are still enabled. We had a skater registratin tday (10/5) and caches are still signing up. CBA Grand Opening Inf is up n the site. Grup reminder t be sent this week. Caching Directr (Shawn White) Met with Beynd Strength in West Falmuth t discuss year rund functinal fitness prgram (similar t Parisi Speed Schl) fr CB players and families. Meeting scheduled fr Wednesday 10/7 t have similar cnversatin with Phit 211. Try Hckey fr Free registratin cmpleted fr Nvember 7th event, will need t find smene t run the event. Beynd Strength/Phit 211 r ther Casc Bay Hckey Assciatin Bard f Directrs Meeting Minutes Octber 5, 2015 Skills Develpment Directr (Glenn Jnssn) Have met with all f ur instructrs and have plans nearing finalizatin. Our Squirts will have skills training every Tuesday with Matt Libby at CBA at 6:40. SQ galies will wrk with Fred Quistgard during this time every ther Tuesday. PW's and BT's will wrk with Kent Hulst and Kristin Andrews every Tuesday at NYA at 7 and 8:10, respectively. Ray Jean will jin t wrk with the galies every ther Tuesday during these times. Wrking n amending the master practice schedule in rder t hand ff the schedules t the instructrs. EJEPL update: PW T2 had their secnd and final turney this past weekend in NH. The team went 2-2 n the weekend and played very well and were cmpetitive in every game. We start the 9 game regular seasn n 10/17 versus a team frm the Albany area. The league has prven t be a very gd supplement t the MeAHA schedule frm a cmpetitin and game cunt perspective. I think it's pushed ur players in a very gd way. It's als gtten the Casc Bay name ut there within New England and the mid Atlantic which is nt a bad thing. Finally, the NCAA Ice Breaker is this weekend in Prtland. Nrth Dakta, Michigan State, Lake Superir State and Maine are all in twn. UMAINE made a very big financial cmmitment t get this lcated in Prtland s wndering if we culd send ut an alerting ur families f the event and t supprt it. It culd pssibly lead t the NCAA Reginals being hsted in twn in a few years if ticket threshlds are met. ACE Directr (Jasn Cyr) As f this evening we have 92 registered caches. As Stephanie said, SafeSprt is still an issue. I'll cntinue t wrk with divisin directrs t help drive the message hme and get flks t cmplete the training ASAP. Galie Caching update (Tim Barnard) Awaiting final team and caching staff selectins. Will be cntacting all head caches t ask they designate ne f their assistant caches t wrk w/ their teams galies thrughut the year and t let me knw wh thse caches are. Will be prviding galtending instructin t galie caches, and any thers that are interested, in the frm f s/printable material that will assist w/ knwledge f galtending basics as well as skills and drills t be cnducted at practices. Need t schedule a few additinal nn- league games t rund ut the schedules. MEAHA games start n 10/18 fr ur Tier II teams, 10/24 fr ur Tier III teams. Valley League teams have started parity rund games. PW Tier II has started games in the EJEPL Valley League and PW Tier II teams have been practicing fr a few weeks. Other travel teams begin practices this week. Still wrking n master practice plan fr bulk f seasn (Nv.- Feb.). I need ne mre hur f weeknight ice, preferably n Wed. r Thurs. Divisin reprts: Midgets Travel (Fran Nrris) Seasn apprx. at half way pint Preparing fr end f seasn U16 turnament which CBHA will hst Submitted ice request t scheduler and await availability Cncerns with NYA time clck- we have had several games at NYA in which the clck has nt functined prperly- it either cntinues t run r will nt stp when the tggle is switched Time clck is a cncern as we enter int turnament play with games at NYA Midget Huse (Tm Cliffrd) Bys Travel (Shawn D.) As Eric mentined, Valley teams are within their parity runds, but have had sme prblems with incrrect placement that we have been wrking n. PeeWee will be re- classified in a lwer divisin fr the remaining parity rund games. Ice time issues have crept up fr the secnd week f practices, s sme teams will have t wrk with tw ther teams. Caches have been ntified and will plan accrdingly. We have a cuple caches and players that are having difficulty fllwing registratin prtcl. All have been ntified and we will need t make a final decisin n them ver the next three days. Practices fr sme teams will begin this week, with ptinal practices taking place. Girls Travel (Sctt M) U19s and U16 1/2 cmpleted fr the Fall seasn U12 A and U14 A schedules cmpleted and in NGIN U12 B and U14 B rsters set caches wrking n safesprt and registratin Schedules in prgress fr these Seasn kickff and Grw the Game Girls hckey Weekend event this Sunday 12:20 PIA. It is a bring a friend event fr girls ages Want t revisit the travel depsit issue fr next seasn fr the U19s and U16s have had 6 girls pay their depsit them back n the team. That is lst frm the budget. Wuld like sme srt f cntract with them that by paying the depsit and accepting a rster spt they are cmmitting t paying the remainder regardless f if they play r nt. Bantam PeeWee (Melissa Riley) Peewee and Bantam Huse players had their first evaluatin Saturday. Next evaluatin date is Octber peewee teams

6 3 bantam teams Peewee draft is scheduled fr Mnday, Octber 12 at 7 pm, Falmuth Ice cnference rm. Finalized the third bantam head cach n 10/3, will schedule draft as sn as pssible. Final Evaluatins Saturday the 10 th. Need t change these dates and imprve this prcess. Far t many families nt attending making selecting teams very difficult. 83 players registered. We are slid nw fr nly 6 Squirt teams and nt the prjected 7. Caches all assigned, starting qualificatin prcess. Team selectin Mnday, Octber 12. Mites (Matt Gdrich) Last Eval was Oct 3rd. Mite Draft takes place Oct Registered. We will have 8 Teams Spke t Sally yesterday regarding schedule. Skating 2hrs Sat Mrnings in Prtland and 2hr Sunday mrnings will be at CBA and NYA n a rtatinal basis with Squirts. Mites with als have 1 hur every Tuesday evening. Mites skating at 430pm Oct 10th during Ice Breaker Turnament Intermissin. Wrking with Tm n equipment and Jerseys Grand Opening Mite Skate, Turnament Dates with Gladiatrs/MidCast, Thanksgiving Jambree, Christmas Weekend already being factred int schedule. Gal is t have EP started n Jan 1. Wrking with Sally n scheduling Ice Head and Assist Caches are signed. List has been sent ff t Jasn and Shawn fr qualificatin prcess. Casc Bay Academy (Heather Geghan) LTP has 50 skaters registered as f tday BTI has 22 (apprx. half registered fr bth sessins and half fr sessin 1. Nne registered fr sessin 2) Between the 2 prgrams we have 5 caches. I have sent ut an asking fr caching vlunteers s hpeful that this weekend I get lts f vlunteers fr bth prgrams. LTP will start n Sunday, Oct 18 BTI will start n Saturday Oct 17 Meeting adjurned at 7:47pm.
