Royals vs. Twins Kansas City iced the season series with last night s win over the Twins, upping the overall mark to 10-8 with today s finale to go after dropping the first meeting here in May, the Royals have now won eight in a row over Minnesota in Kauffman Stadium and a win today would mark the first four-game sweep of the Twins since August 18-21, 2016 the Royals have a edge all-time at home, but trail by a count overall. FINAL JOURNEY OF Kansas City will embark on its final road trip of the season following today s homestand finale, which will include stops in a pair of National League cities...the journey is scheduled to commence tomorrow night in Pittsburgh, but the remnants of tropical storm Florence are scheduled to hit Pennsylvania tomorrow, thus putting the series opener in jeopardy...kc is scheduled for three at PNC Park, followed by a four-game stop in Detroit beginning Thursday and then wrapping up the road schedule with a pair in Cincinnati following an off day a week from tomorrow the Royals are away from Kauffman Stadium this season the club has gone 3-2 in NL parks this year (2-1 in St. Louis and 1-1 in Milwaukee).
