LIMITED SUPPORT OF LATE--The Royals have scored only seven runs with Yordano in the game over his last five starts, an average of 2.03 runs per 9.0 innings, fourthlowest among qualifying A.L. pitchers since May 13. A RARE STEAL--Rangers rookie Joey Gallo stole second base during the second inning of Ventura s outing on Saturday, just the second time an opposing runner has been successful on the basepaths in his career innings as Yoenis Cespedes swiped second last September 12 while with Boston...since 1963, only former Cardinals and Nationals hurler Jason Simontacchi ( ) has thrown more innings (355.2) and allowed fewer steals (1).
