IT S NOT HOW MANY, BUT WHEN THEY COME--Kansas City outhit the Angels by a 10-5 count in Wednesday s loss, but the Royals scuffled to an 0-for-7 evening with runners in scoring position, placing runners on base in eight of the nine innings...meanwhile, the Angels didn t even get a runner in scoring position on Wednesday night, but hit a trio of home runs that accounted for their scoring...kc went just 4-for-23 (.174) is RISP situations in Anaheim and.214 with runners in scoring position on the year (36-for-168), a category the Royals finished second in the Majors in last year with a.281 mark.
