13 THE LAST GAME Raiders 23, Chiefs 20 OT November 7, 2010 Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum 61,075 KANSAS CITY OAKLAND The Chiefs had a seven-game road winning streak at Oakland snapped as K Sebastian Janikowski drilled a 33-yard FG in overtime to give Oakland a victory. After a scoreless first quarter a defensive pass interference call put the Chiefs at the Oakland 14-yard line. On third and two, Cassel hit TE Tony Moeaki for five yards to the Oakland one-yard line. Moeaki s catch was initially ruled a TD, but was challenged by the Raiders. The play was overturned, and QB Matt Cassel ran for an apparent TD on the next play, but a holding penalty moved the ball back to the 11. Cassel hit WR Verran Tucker in the back of the end zone for an 11-yard TD to put the Chiefs up 7-0. LB Derrick Johnson forced a RB Darren McFadden fumble on the Raiders ensuing possession that was recovered by DE Wallace Gilberry at the Oakland 26-yard line. After failing to pick up the first down, Chiefs K Ryan Succop sent a 43-yard FG through the uprights to extend the Chiefs lead to CB Javier Arenas appeared to give the Chiefs a 17-0 edge when he returned an Oakland punt for a 72-yard TD, but the play was nullified by an illegal block in the back. Cassel hit Moeaki for 23 yards on a wheel route up the left sideline, pushing the ball to the Kansas City 47-yard line. On third and nine, Cassel connected with WR Terrance Copper for 20 yards. Cassel then found Bowe for nine yards, bringing Succop onto the field for a 41-yard FG attempt. A holding penalty negated the FG and pushed the attempt back to 51 yards. Succop then tried a pooch punt that rolled into the end zone. On the Raiders next play, S Jon McGraw intercepted a QB Jason Campbell pass at the Oakland 45-yard line. The Chiefs had a golden scoring opportunity, but Cassel had a pass tipped into the arms of Raiders CB Jeremy Ware in the end zone. On the second-half kickoff Oakland WR Jacoby Ford scampered for a 94-yard TD, making the score Arenas then fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Raiders recovered at the Chiefs 34-yard line. The Chiefs defense held and Janikowski s 47-yard FG attempt went wide left, leaving the Chiefs lead at On KC s next possession the Chiefs were able to knock through a Succop 25-yard FG to make the score 13-7 with 9:41 left in the third period. The Raiders answered with seven points of their own. Campbell found T Khalif Barnes, who had reported as a tackle eligible, in the end zone giving Oakland a lead. The Raiders were driving again, but the Chiefs forced a 23 yard Janikowski FG to make the count The Chiefs went three and out but LB Demorrio Williams forced a fumble on the Oakland punt return that was recovered by Tucker at the Oakland 30-yard line. Facing third and 11, Cassel hit WR Dwayne Bowe in the end zone for a 20-yard TD, giving the Chiefs the lead with 6:13 left to play in the fourth quarter. After exchanging punts, Campbell hit Ford for 29 yards and a first down. Oakland spiked the ball and Janikowski kicked a 42-yard FG to tie the game at Kansas City got the ball to start overtime but went three and out, giving Oakland the ball at its own 38-yard line.
