I know, I know...some of you are already thinking I don't have 3 people to even "ask" to join my team. 2. I don't even know what I am doing - how can I recruit? 3. I am not sure I know how to lead other people. ALLOW ME TO MAKE THOSE THOUGHTS DISAPPEAR 1) If you ask MOST Red Jackets - their first 3 recruits came from the circle of influence they "already" had! Friends, family, neighbors, & co-workers! I'll bet if you made a list and actually called people to help you out - you could easily find 10 people to interview!! PLUS you don't "have" to do the interview! I'll do it for you - you can listen - and if you've got some good prospects we should be able to close 3 out of 10! 2) Do you know that MOST Red Jackets move into RED within 30 days of deciding? That proves that you really don't need to know anything specific! Your excitement is what draws people to you! They want to understand "why" you are having a good time, earning cash, and bringing home prizes!! AND, once they are on your team - it's my job to train them!! Your only responsibility is... encouragement! That's it!! Pretty easy!! 3) Leaders aren't born - they are developed! The only way you will "know how" to lead is by building your team. So...no matter if you are brand new or you have been in MK for 6 months - you will still be a beginning leader at some point! Leading is basically transferring the skills you have learned, or are learning, to the women that join your team and it's as simple as that!! 17 Dream Team! You are awesome! Our unit was the Number ONE Unit in the ENTIRE Kittson Area for the month of October! Our production goal started out at $18k, and then I upped it to $20k once I called the company and re-tracked our production numbers for Cadillac. So, with that being said, we went ABOVE our start-up goal, and were within a couple hundred dollars from our NEW 20k goal. I am so proud of each and every one of you. We had consultants calling in last minute, to try and get their orders in, so that we could reach our team goal of 20k. I am just so excited to see what November holds for us. It is a TEAM effort! Our production for October ended up at $19,687, and for November, our team must have a minimum of $20,000 for us to reach Cadillac Production by December 31st. We must work together as a team to accomplish this goal. The single best way to up our production is to bring in new people. Several of you have a goal to go On-Target for your car this month, so you will be working hard to team build. But, for those who do not already have a BIG goal for November, I ask you to make a goal and then achieve it. We want to all be meeting our goals together. So, if you want to be in a RED Jacket by December 1st, then make that your goal, and then team build to make it happen. If you want to become a Senior Consultant, or a Team Leader, or even go into DIQ make up your mind to reach that goal and then don t stop until it has been achieved. My favorite thing about Mary Kay is that no one can reach their goals without other people being successful as well. So, lets be a team of success, and lets really UP our standards for ourselves and for our Unit this month. I will be doing a team conference call THIS Sunday, November 11th at 9pm EST. Please make it a priority to be on this call. I will be training on WAS, SCC Organization, Money Management, Holiday Bookings, and Leadership. I really want to bring up a group of leaders in our unit and call them the Inner Circle. Be on the call this Sunday to get more information and training. The call-in number is and the access code is 55555#. As you know, our Quarter ends on December 15th. A lot of you are working hard to achieve high STAR status. Make sure you checkout the STAR page in our newsletter so you can track your progress with the STAR Consultant Quarterly Contest. You all should have received my SCC DVD in the mail last month. I am super excited to get this resource in your hands. As you know, my SCC average is over $1,000 per class, and I want for you to be able to duplicate this high average. So, take out your flip chart, sit down with my DVD and learn how to simplify your class. If you need me to you a word document with my SCC script, I would be more than happy to do that. Just me and let me know. Have a wonderful month, and really focus on bookings! Make sure you do not have a lull in your skin care classes.
